a 10 for Inspiration #029

A month before Christmas is always my favorite time of the year, besides my birthday. Just the Christmas spirit I see everywhere around me brightens my day! It just makes me feel like decorating my house with beautiful lights, getting a Christmas tree and all that.

Trend: Earlaces ❤

I'm really into all these ear accessories lately, the oh-so edgy ear cuffs, glamorous feather earrings and now I found something else to obsess about: the Earlace (Earrings/Necklace).

 It's just like the hair chain, but way more stylish I think! 

You can really find these earlaces in all sorts and lengths. 

You see this earlace that Rihanna is wearing on this picture? Hopefully I'll have the same one in a couple of days since I ordered it (a similar) today. But I'll make another blogpost about it some other time.

Lady Glossy: Create Your Own Magazine ❤

Ever wondered what it would feel like to be on the cover of a magazine?
Now you can! In Holland there's a new concept called, Lady Glossy, that lets you create your own personal 12-paged magazine. And it's easier than it sounds.

How?
You can download the software for free on the Lady Glossy website. Whether you have MAC or Windows, it doesn't matter because the site has a software for both of them.
After you downloaded the software you can let the creative side of you get to work!

The process of creating your own Magazine

Because you can make it as personal as you want too, this can be the ultimate (christmas) present! Surprise your best friend, boyfriend, sister, mom, who ever with an amazing scrapbook/memory book filled with pictures, lovely texts in the form of a magazine. Don't forget to put their picture on the cover ofcourse. Or you can also make your own little portfolio, with your fashion/modeling pictures or your own photography work.
Be as creative as can be!

For €17,50 you'll receive your own magazine within 3 days. Is 12 pages not enough for you? No problem, you can add additional pages for just €0,50 per page!

When I was younger, I "started" my own magazine (GirlzzMagazine, I think it was called).
It was just about fashion, and the celebrities that I used to be obsessed with at that time. But it was the most horrible thing ever, I had no clue what I was doing. I don't even know where I got the idea from. But maybe with Lady Glossy I might do it again some time, just for fun and on a more professional level.

Event: Nelly HIGH HEELS ❤

Fact: you can always wake me up for fabulous shoes.

And when I think of fabulous shoes, I think of Nelly.com.
Saturday night (19 Nov. 11) I attended the 'Nelly HIGH HEELS Event' in Utrecht.

The first 150 girls that got in line had the chance to choose a free pair of Nelly shoes, while the first 100 got an additional goodie bag with their new shoes!
Me, Omaily and Jennifer got in line at least 2 hours before the doors opened, and there were already so many girls (and a few guys?) in line. It was cold, our toes were freezing but luckily we were among the first 100 girls. We'd to anything for shoes!

Design Contest

 Since me and Omaily came all the way from the Hague, we had asked if there was any chance we could get our goodiebags before 11. But the answer was no, so Jen was nice enough to get our goodiebags for us. I have no idea what is in it, but I can't wait to find out.

Ages ago I did a post about WDYT? (What Do You Think?) asking your opinions about colored blazers.

Today I have a different WDYT? question.
As many of you Dutchies know, there is a new fashion magazine in town: FASHIONISTA.

The magazine really gives meaning to their name, since it's filled with fashion, fashion and more fashion! From the newest trends, to budget fashion, hair styling tips, must-have items....Fashionista really has it all!

Some girls say they love it, a few think it's just like any other fashion magazine (referring to a favorite, CosmoGirl)....But i'ts obvious that I love it!

Makeup Tip: GLITTER LIPS ❤

Ever since I bought my glitter heels, I've fallen in love with glitter again. And what perfect time to give your look an extra touch of bling, than the upcoming holidays? I don't want to just walk on glitter (referring to my heels), but I want to talk with glitter as well.Especially after seeing these glitter lips.

With these lips, you'll be the center of attention at that fabulous Christmas/ New Year's Eve party for sure! It wouldn't even matter what you're wearing (but ofcourse you'll still want to look stylish too!).

A little tip for if you are going to try this out: Try to keep your eye makeup a bit simple (nude eye makeup look), since you want your lips to stand out more. Personally I would go for a winged eyeliner. IF you don't really like to accentuate all the attention to your lips, try doing it the other way around. Glitter eye makeup look with nude lips!
