Last Sunday I traveled to Almere for the second edition of MY Run on Heels race. As I mentioned in a previous blog post, MYROH was an 100m race where mostly ladies raced against each other on high heels for a chance to win the big €2.500 shopping money prize. The event started off with the Dutch All-star Cheerleading squad that got the crowd pumped up, a few fashion shows from various stores nearby, dancing entertainment (i.a Little Chucky crew), the miss pageants, singer Nicole Bus and ofcourse multiple races. I also got my picture taken by a professional photo studio in the VIP lounge, but it hasn't been up their page yet. When I get, I'll be sure to share them on my facebook page. At the event I also met Esther who is the owner of Liquid Heels. She was nice enough to let me pick out two shoe stickers. (So there will definitely be a follow-up post on those. I might even give one away to a lucky reader). Agnes also let me pick out these gorgeous golden sandals from the old collection of Diewilikhebben.com. Must have been my lucky day!
Even though it was mostly a rainy and cloudy weather, I still enjoyed the event. And I wish I was the young woman that won that shopping money. She was ridiculously fast on those heels!

Vind het maar knap hoor rennen op hakken. Jammer dat ik er niet was! Die stand met nagellak voor €1,- zag ik laatst op een beurs en hun nagellak is nog best goed. Had ik zeker weer willen kopen.
