My blog is Follow in My Fabulousness... It just came to me one day.

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
I have been reading Fashion Blogs for awhile and admired the bloggers. I had some spare time so I decided that I would start a fashion blog. I like to share my outfits with others. I started in October 2010.

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
I like receiving comments and emails and hearing other peoples perspectives. It's so interesting to have readers from all over the world look at your blog.

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
I am always looking at other blogs and celebrities for style inspiration. For posts regarding trends I look at what is in stores and what is selling. Sometimes I just blog about whatever is in my head.

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
I hope to host some giveaways! Also maybe try some new features. Overall, I just want to keep growing.

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
I have many blogs I follow religiously. It would be really hard for me to choose one. Some of my favourites include Dulce Candy. I love her outfits and her baby is the cutest thing ever. Haute and Rebellious is another favourite. She has amazing style. I love everything she wears and the items in her store her amazing.

♥Do you socialize with your Followers?
Yes I try as much as possible. I respond back to any questions they may have. I follow up on emails and twitter replies.

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
If the blogger's personal style interests me I will usually follow. I love to get inspiration from other bloggers.

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
Don't give in the beginning if you aren't getting many comments or followers. If you blog interesting content they will come.

✿What is your Personal Style?
I'm very trendy. I like to follow the current season trends. I also love girly pieces.

✿Who is your #1 Fashion Icon?
Kim Kardashian. I love how she always looks great no matter if she is only going to get her nails done or going to a major event.

✿What is your #1 Favorite Beauty Product?
My favourite beauty product would have to be Make-Up Forever's HD Foundation. It covers any blemishes and makes your face look great in photos.

✿If you could have any career in Fashion, what would you be?
I would love to be a stylist. Helping others look great would be so rewarding in my opinion.

Fashion blogger primarily, but there is always an element of beauty because it is so closely intertwined. I also talk about whatever is moving me at that moment, so if I read a great book, visited a cool place, saw an awesome video, I’m going to write about it.

♥What is the name of your Blog? Why did you choose that name?
MARLEY SIMONE. MARLEY SIMONE is me (Sandy); it’s just my other self. Fashion has always been a part of my dream world and I was never quite brave enough to execute on it and live out my passion. That’s how MARLEY SIMONE was born. She’s fearless! Constantly inspired by fashion and a love for all things creative. Sandy decided to take the first step of nurturing MARLEY SIMONE and sharing her with the world.

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
Based in NJ, I work with everyday woman as a fashion consultant and a personal shopper. As a stylist, I’m passionate and committed in the field of work I do. I love many things about fashion—I love the ownership and individuality one can exude by molding ideas and creativity into a unique expression, “add in some personality, and you are now one of a kind like a fingerprint.” I started slowly in May of 2010, but it wasn’t until January of 2011 that I started to go hard at it.

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
It’s my expression. My diary. Me! The challenge! Learning and growing. Blogging forces me to constantly look deep within to find my voice and develop on my personality. It’s an evolving process. It also forces me to take charge and put out meaningful interesting topics that inspire others and ultimately keep them coming back. Aside from it being fun because if it wasn’t, I damn sure wouldn’t be doing it, it’s challenging! But, so worth it!

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
I do! I want my blog to blow up like volcano and manifest itself in a different beautiful form after the eruption takes place. Does that even make sense? Lol Currently, I don’t have any definite plan for my blog perse’, but it must grow and it must evolve with me as well as my styling brand.

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
I have a few and reasons why I love them so much is because you can see the maturity in their posts. They are the veterans of blogging I would say and they have stuck with it and have matured immensely, constantly giving their readers something to come back for. Karla’s Closet, The Glamourai, and The Oracle Fox are 3 of my favorites. I also love CSDblog because she is the reason why I started blogging in the first place.

♥Do you socialize with your Followers?
Absolutely! But, I would like more engagement with them.

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
Content, layout, creativity, and an X-factor.

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
Be authentic! Allow your passion and dedication to drive you.

I am a bit of both actually. I like to do posts about Hauls, Outfits of the Day, and I also do makeup looks, swatches you name it. I talk about pretty much anything that comes into my head at any given moment. I've also done some book reviews and plan to start doing recipes soon.

♥What is the name of your Blog? Why did you choose that name?
The name of my blog is Once Upon a Shoe! To be honest it's what took me so long to start a blog, I wanted the perfect name. It was so hard to come up with something I would be happy with after all it had to be something I was happy with and represented me. I started brainstorming for like a month ( yeah I took it a little too seriously hehe) but in the end it came down to my two favorite things in this world (besides my kids & fiance) which is shoes and reading. Those two things combined made what is now my blog name and I am really happy with it :)

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
I think it was a bunch of things from following fellow bloggers to having all these great finds in clothes, makeup, etc. and having no one to share them with. While I do have my fair share of fashionista's around me I felt I needed an extra outlet to express myself and find people around me who share my same interests. I started my blog back in February of this year so I've been on here for almost three months.

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
I really love all the feedback I get it makes me feel like I'm actually getting to know these ladies especially when it's fellow bloggers who stop by my blog regularly and show their support. But most of all I just love expressing myself where I felt other social networks really limited me.

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
Pretty much from everywhere magazines, blogs, people walking down the street, etc. etc.

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
I take it day by day but I really want to make my blog informative while still being fun. I don't want to ever sound like some kind of promoter for a specific brand or product, I want it to always have that feel like if we were talking in person and having a fun conversation about all things beauty and fashion.

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
My favorite bloggers would have to be Kandee Johnson, Shopaholic (such a down to earth girl and so sweet actually taking the time out to feature us all new bloggers as a way to get to know each other that is Awesome!), Dulce Candy, Sonia Castaneda, The Budget Babe the list goes on and on.

♥Do you socialize with your Followers?
Yes I always like to respond to a comment from a blogger and go on their pages to see their new posts and comment as well. As a new blogger I feel we need to socialize and reach out to one another now more than ever to give us that boost we need to continue with our blogs and not feel as if there is no out there hearing us. Sometimes though a few do slip through the cracks since when I see them and about to respond my little one cries or something interrupts me and they I forget to and by the time I remember it's way too late but socializing is a must in my opinion. Obviously though when a blogger has so many followers I can understand why they wouldn't as much since they would probably never be able to leave their computers haha

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
I like a blog that's fun to read and again it feels like they are talking to me. I get seriously turned off by a blog that has all these excerpts or quotes directly from websites because then I don't get that feeling of one on one.

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
I would say post what you enjoy and keep it fun. Keep it real and let your personality shine through.

✿What is your Personal Style?
This is such a hard question for me, I have never been able to pinpoint an exact personal style. I am drawn to "Girly" a lot but I have months I feel "Rocker," "Boho," "Classic" you name it I've felt it.

✿Who is your #1 Fashion Icon?
My number one fashion Icon would have to be Jessica Alba. I love how her style always seems to be evolving.

✿What is your #1 Favorite Beauty Product?
Gosh this is such a hard question for me. It's so hard to pick just one since there are two things I wear every single day without fail and that is my Mac Prolongwear SPF 10 Foundation and Clinique SPF 40 sunscreen.

✿If you could have any career in Fashion, what would you be?
I would be a stylist! How fun it must be to have a job that involves shopping for beautiful clothes.

I’m a little bit of both. I first started writing about beauty & make-up since I like them so much. But after I became more fascinated with all the new fashion trends, especially the spring trends, I started blogging about them too. I’m not a fashion addict by heart, but I do have a passion for fashion. Since then I try to write at least one blog post a week about fashion.

♥What is the name of your Blog? Why did you choose that name?
The name of my blog is Life Fascinations! I chose this name, because I wanted to make my blog about all of those things that fascinates me in life. Besides make-up, I love music and cooking/baking. Those are few of the things that fascinate me in life. But later on I began to notice that it’s a little too much to write about all these topics. So then I chose beauty and fashion as a main base for my blog and once in awhile I’ll write about the other things that fascinate me.

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
I didn’t know much about beauty blogging and vlogging until last year. I was always a fan of make-up but I always wonder how would they get those colors perfectly blend into each other and why you need to use some different products. A friend of mine started her blog and introduced me to this world. I started to follow her and then watching videos after videos on YouTube. Suddenly I had this idea of starting my own blog. A blog where I could take people along with me on my life journey. Little would I know that after these few months I’d accomplish all of this on my blog. How I learn from then till now how to do different things. Just take a look at my first pictures for example and my current pictures. Big difference. I posted my first post on the 20th of November 2010. But I really started to blog frequently in January 2011.

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
What I mostly like is the interacting with other people. How I find myself talking/emailing with others from a different part of the world. How we all share the same love for beauty and make-up and we talk about it.

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
I do a lot of magazine reading; fashion, beauty, life. It doesn’t matter which kind of magazine. And also I find myself a lot behind my “happy lappy” on the internet searching for anything.

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
Future plans, future plans…hmmm…
Currently I find it pretty difficult to write a post or two every single day. I try to, but as my followers already notice I’m not there yet. So as a future plan I want to post every single day. And also start vlogging as that’s easier for me and much more interesting for those that read my blog. And also I want to take a make-up course to make nicer looks with a nice finish, to learn more for my blog.

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
This question is pretty difficult, because there’s so many bloggers out there from who I love their work. But okay, if I really have to choose I would go for Dutch beauty blogger Serena of BeautyLab. She’s so up to date in the blogging scene and has a hilarious way to write her blog. Such a funny girl to watch.

♥Do you socialize with your Followers?
I so love my followers. I see them as my-never-met-but-love-friends. They are the ones that I’m so grateful to. Because they take the time out of their life to read everything I post. So anytime I get a comment or an email I try and do my best to answer them.

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
I’m such a sucker for eye candy pictures. If a blog has those perfect taken and edited pictures I would hit the follow button instantly. Because that shows how much care the writer puts into her work. But I also love the blogs that are always up to date, has good information and such a treat to read. (Ha, that rhymes). Those I love to read and I don’t want to miss any post of them.

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
My advice would be; Just Do It! If you’re walking around with the idea, thinking about it, maybe you’re doubting about it… Stop-with-that. Just go to your PC or lappy, log on Blogger or Wordpress or whatever and make yourself a blog. Because thinking about it or doubting wouldn’t help you in any way. So go ahead and take the first step. That would be such an accomplishment and you would be much happier.

✿What is your Personal Style?
My personal style is all around. Depends on the occasion and my mood and maybe also the weather. For school for example: If it’s winter and I’m late which makes me grumpy I would grab the first thing I see in my closet to wear. But if it’s spring, I would prepare my outfit a day ahead. Something chic/flowery/laid back combined with either some heels or flats. And if the weather is nice and warm I would even wear some sandals. And most important, I’d be sure to be on time.

✿Who is your #1 Fashion Icon?
Ehm… … My #1 Fashion Icon… hmmm…
That would be a mixture of Rihanna meets Katy Perry meets Dita Von Teese meets Ashley Tisdale.

✿What is your #1 Favorite Beauty Product?
I have two favorites. First one is my Too Faced Shadow Insurance eye shadow primer. I really love this thing. How it keeps my eye look the whole day on my eyes. Just amazing. And my other favorite product are lipsticks. I wasn’t a fan until recently, but just how lip color can change your whole face.. I love that.

✿If you could have any career in Fashion, what would you be?
I want to be a professional make-up artist. Like one for the celebrity’s. He he… And a more realistic career is to be CEO of my own fashion/beauty webshop.

Well, I started as neither a fashion blogger nor a beauty blogger. Now I blog about both. But not only that, I blog about everything that comes to my mind, but I will keep it especially for beauty and fashion related.

♥What is the name of your Blog? Why did you choose that name?
Chique and Glam. I didn't have any particular reason for choosing this name. It just popped!

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
Well it's simple. I always dreamed of having my own store, so I bought some jewelry pieces for me to create and I didn't have anywhere to start "promoting" what my plans were. So I decided that blogger would be the best place for me to do it. BUT I never shared what I made (Stay Tuned for that). After one or two posts about what my plans was supposed to be I decided to start blogging about beauty also. But it became more intense in March/April. The exact date when I start blogging was in December, the 28th!

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
The freedom to express yourself.

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
My Inspiration comes from everywhere. I can simple see a bird something pop in my head for me to blog about. Isn't that cool? But besides that, ideas/inspirations come from other bloggers, magazines and of course YouTube!

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
Ofcourse I do, but my lips are still sealed. Just follow my blog and you will see my future plans!

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
My favorite blogger MUST be Dulce Candy! She has an awesome taste in fashion and she's petite just like me, so it's easy for me when shopping online cause I can see what clothing would fit me the best!

Yes I do! There's nothing more good then make them feel that you really appreciate their time and effort every time they leave a comment!

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
I have to recognize myself in it! I don't like COPY & PASTE! I have seen allot of bloggers doing that!

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
Just be yourself and write about what you like! Don't worry about the amount of followers you have. As soon as you stay true to what you want to achieve with your blog and of course by posting regularly without knowing you will gain your followers.

✿What is your Personal Style?
It's very mixed. One day you can see me in a plain shirt and a jeans with no make-up on and the next day you can see me all dressed up! But always keeping it classy. But if I have to explain it in "fashion" term you can say I’m pretty casual.

✿Who is your #1 Fashion Icon?
I don't have one.

✿What is your #1 Favorite Beauty Product?
My MAC Studio Fix powder plus foundation! I love it.

✿If you could have any career in Fashion, what would you be?
I would love to be a fashion designer. I love to wear unique pieces and soon I will start making my own clothes! I already have my sewing machine :)

♥What is the name of your Blog? Why did you choose that name?
TheStylist LA. When I started my company I was looking for a name that embodied what we do....I figure if we are trying to "style LA" why not be called, TheStylist LA? (BTW our company is a high-end dress borrowing service...through the company women can rent designer dresses for a week at a time...in case you were wondering!)

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
I started blogging in May of 2009 (wow, I can't believe it's been almost two years!) I started about the same time I started the company. I wanted to company to have a better voice through blogging and I knew that blogging would help me find inspiration.

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
I love everything about blogging. I wish I could do it all day every day :-) But if I had to pick I would say my favorite part is constantly being inspired by what other Bloggers write about.

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
Everywhere. I read my favorite blogs every day. I look at style.com refinery29 and Who What Wear daily. I read fashion magazines and I like to observe what random people on the street are wearing on a daily basis.

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
Yes, definitely. I want the blog to get bigger, with more followers, and I want to personalize it a bit more by adding more of my own personal style and maybe even some personal style outfit posts.

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
That is a very difficult question! It depends on the type of blog you are talking about. Tommy Ton (of Jak and Jil Blog) is one of our all time favorites. However, he is more a fashion photographer than a blogger. So if you mean, real blogger I would have to same Rumi of Fashion Toast. Her style is most in line with my own and I love her writing style. Her inspiration always interests me.

♥Do you socialize with your Followers?
Yes! As far as replying back to comments, following their blogs and commenting on their sites, I do. I wish that I had more contact with my followers though!

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
I think each blog needs to have its own independent personality. I also think its a personal thing whether you like a blog or not. Do you identify with what inspires the blogger? I like when blogs have a mix of inspiration, fashion news, and outfit posts too.

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
Keep at it and stay true to yourself! Don't change your vision because you think you should, or because people tell you you should. Your blog should be a way to keep you inspired and help inspire others, and thus should reflect you (the blogger).

✿What is your Personal Style?
I would say comfortably polished. I am obsessed with jeggings, jean shorts, skirts, blazers and loading on the jewelry (esp rings). My ultimate goal is to look put together while still being comfortable (since I spend every day running all over LA!)

✿Who is your #1 Fashion Icon?
That is a very tough question! Right now I can't get enough of Emmanuelle Alt's style. I love how she wears masculine pieces (and many different types of blazers) but still maintains a feminine edge. I also can't get enough of Taylor Tomasi Hill's immaculate mix and match style.

✿What is your #1 Favorite Beauty Product?
My Clinique Even Better Foundation. This is the only beauty product I use every day.

✿If you could have any career in Fashion, what would you be?
If I could have any career in Fashion, I would be doing exactly what I am doing now and for that I am extremely lucky. However, I would love to see my company grow, get a bigger client base, build a staff etc.

♥What is the name of your Blog? Why did you choose that name?
Eco Warrior Princess. I chose this name as a result of my "tree change" from the city to a rural setting. I lived in Melbourne and was known as an urban princess - I worked hard and I played hard. Although I am a lover of fashion and living in the fast lane, my partner and I moved to the country and our life is vastly different to the one we left behind. Being surrounded by mountains, creeks and wide open country has made me concerned about the environmental cost of human consumption and it has also helped me to embrace my hippie spirit. Hence, Eco Warrior Princess.

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
I started blogging because I had three people in my life tell me I should write all of my "opinions" down because they learnt a lot from my political and environment psycho babble. I believe in following the signs so I listened to the signs and thus Eco Warrior Princess was born.

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
The freedom to cast your opinion and your thoughts out into the deep ocean that is known as the world wide web and get some sort of reaction from what you write - whether it is positive feedback or negative feedback at least it gets readers thinking!

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
Everyday life gives me so much to work with. It could be a snippet of a conversation. A great quote in a movie or book. A radio talk-back discussion. General conversation. Dreams. Flashes of brilliance when I'm sitting there on my own. It helps that I carry my organiser and notebook every where I go so I can jot all of my ideas down. I even write down words I've never heard of so I can look the meaning up later and try and use it in a piece of writing.

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
Carol Tice, the blogger behind 'Make a Living Writing' because she gives practical writing advice and writes with a sense of humour. Her posts informative, funny and addictive!

♥Do you socialize with your Followers?
Online - yes; In person - no, although some of my followers are friends and family so technically, I do.

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
If the content teaches me something or inspires me.

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
Write frequently. Write on a consistent basis. Learn to edit your posts. Make sure you add photos to each post. Try to give your audience a reason to keep coming back (either they learn something or you inspire them).

✿What is your Personal Style?
Eclectic and varied depending on my mood. It usually ranges anywhere from party-girl princess to girl-next-door casual to boho glam. Regardless, I always team my outfit with Jackie-O sunglasses, nude lip gloss and confidence!

✿Who is your #1 Fashion Icon?

I am a fashion blogger, but I like to add some posts about beauty sometimes.

♥What is the name of your Blog? Why did you choose that name?
The name of my blog is JayMarie. It comes from my own name; Jay comes from the “J” in JaNisha and Marie comes from one of my middle names. I’m so bad with names and usernames, but I loved that one.

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
I started blogging because I loved looking at other fashion blogs and I really want to start my own to help other people. I love giving advice on anything!

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
I like networking and communicating with bloggers. You meet so many amazing and talented people. I love how blogging had personally given me another awesome hobby where I can use my creativity and it had definitely helped me in my own style. If I’m going to blog about a fabulous outfit or comment on one, why not look fabulous myself? I have gained a lot more confidence and I love it.

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
I get inspiration from things that I want to buy like backpacks for example. I’ll do a post with adorable backpacks while shopping for one. Magazines, TV and conversations with people are also where I get a lot of inspiration from as well. There’s just so many things I probably don’t even know that some things inspire me.

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
For my blog I really want to start featuring bloggers and girls with awesome fashion. In the summer I even want to consider street fashions too. I also really, really want to open an online vintage store! It’s a dream!

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
One of my favorite bloggers is Cyan over at shutterbug-z.blogspot.com. She just has an amazing style and she’s so cute! Her red hair is a dream. I love her posts on how her week was and what she did with pictures. I just always love seeing her new posts!

♥Do you socialize with your Followers?
I try to socialize with my followers as much as possible with replying to comments and sharing my Twitter! I also welcome anyone to inbox me at anytime. I really would love to make some awesome friendships with my followers. I met a girl online years ago and we’re still really good friends. I love her and I think it would just be awesome to have any type of relationship with my followers. I need a blogging best friend. LOL (:

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
I follow a blog that has a really nice layout, but I don’t put 100% judgment in that. I also like a blog with original content. Some blogs with magazine scans and whatnot is okay, but they just get boring and are really distant from the blogger themselves. A blog should just have personality and a very nice look that’s easy to read and navigate through.

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
DO IT! And keep doing it! It’s definitely exciting and fun! It can be intimidating with famous bloggers, but everyone starts somewhere. Your motives and ideas may change, but it’s what makes you a better blogger! You only live once, so follow your passions.

✿What is your Personal Style?
My personal style changes depending on my mood really, but I always go for something cute even if it’s just an on the go outfit. I always go back to neutral colors like brown, black and white.

✿Who is your #1 Fashion Icon?
I love Sienna Miller’s style. It’s always so simple and chic. It looks like she just effortlessly picks out her outfits!

✿What is your #1 Favorite Beauty Product?
I love Wet ‘n Wild, but I think I’ve fallen in love with CoverGirl’s Lash Blast (orange) mascara. My lashes just look amazing.

✿If you could have any career in Fashion, what would you be?

My blog is called FASHION ICE. Honestly, it just sounded right and the words seems to blend nicely. It could mean a lot of things, perhaps my love of jewelry?

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
I had been debating to start a blog for a while and decided to finally do it one day and am so glad I did. Sharing my love for fashion and my personal style with others was my goal.

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
I enjoy sharing my style and everything fashion with others. I also like getting inspired by others' blogs and looks as well as discovering new brands/designers and collections.

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
I get my inspiration from everything everywhere! Music, art and culture inspire me a lot and I also love traveling so I take that into account when blogging.

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
Just to keep improving it, add regular outfit posts and continue to doing what I love. We'll see what happens!

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
Ohh there are so many!! A few blogs I enjoy are Vintage Lollipops, Life in Travel, Heatstorm, Frassy & The Style Manual to name a few.

♥Do you socialize with your Followers?
Yes, I try to respond to every comment I get on my blog and take a look at their blogs. I feel that socializing with your followers/readers is very important as they are your support system. I am always grateful for them.

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
Someone who has a unique sense of style that doesn't necessarily follow every trend but puts their own spin to it is something that attracts me. Anything a bit edgy and bold are also things I enjoy. I'm also into photography, art and of course jewelry!

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
Stay true to your style and what your interests are. Also, it's important to keep your blog interesting and upto date with content.

My personal style always changes so I can define it in one way. Right now, I'm into the grunge look (think studs, leather, cut offs & vintage oversized tees) meets classic looks (think camel colors, sheer & statement jewelry)

I am a fashion blogger.

♥What is the name of your Blog? Why did you choose that name?
The name of my blog is My Cup of Lemon Drop. I wanted to give my blog a name that no one had and was unique in its own way. I got it from the saying My Cup of Tea, which mean things you like and since I am obsessed with the lemon drop shot I decided to give it that name. If you haven’t tried a lemon drop shot go try it now!! So good!

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
I always get people asking me where I buy my clothes or jewelry or shoes (I am shoe obsessed) and so I was checking out some blogs at one point, including yours =], and I was like hmm blogging! I figured if I started blogging then I would share with everyone where I shop and what trends are up and coming and so on. I started blogging this year in January.

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
Being able to express myself. I see fashion as art and I think its great to share this art with others. Some people don’t know a lot about fashion and others know even more than I do and I think it’s awesome to be able to bring my own style and take on fashion to others and hopefully I can inspire them.

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
Tumblr for one hehehe, I love looking at all the pictures there. TV also gives me some great inspiration. Also reading other blogs, I don’t copy from them but they give me more ideas of what to post about. I also make up ideas for me to share.

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
I do have a lot of DIY post coming up in the summer and some more outfit posts and giveaways! So stay tuned! I would also love to have my blog acknowledged by Teen Vogue, or any big magazine.

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
My favorite blogger would have to be Chiara Ferragni from The Blonde Salad! I love her style and how she mix and match her clothes. I especially love her new collection of shoes for Luisa Via Roma.

♥Do you socialize with your Followers?
Yes I do! I am honored that they leave me comments and take the time out of their day to read my blog. I like them to know that I do appreciate it very much. I also socialize through twitter with some of them. Every time I get a comment to check out their blog, as soon as I get the chance, I do it and leave them comments.

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
I follow many blogs. First I go through many of their pages (not all but many) and I see if I can relate to what they are blogging about. I also like to see new things that I haven’t posted or I haven’t seen on other blogs. I love unique blogs.

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
Don’t give up! At the beginning I wanted to stop blogging because I wasn’t getting many comments or followers and I still don’t have that many but I realized it is something I love to do. At first people don’t follow blogs so easy and you have to do a lot of networking but in the end your doing something you love to do and love to talk about so don’t let it bring you down and just keep going ahead.

✿What is your Personal Style?
I get asked this question a lot. The problem is I don’t have a set in stone style. I wear what I like and I know what fits me best. I love the boho chic I am very into it but sometimes I like to dress edgy and eclectic and other times I want to be girly. One day you can see me with a girl skirt and top with some pink ballet flats and then the next you will see me with an edgy shirt with a pair of leggings and some boots.

✿Who is your #1 Fashion Icon?
I would have to say Vanessa Hudgens. She dresses casual and boho chic by day and by night she is all glammed up! I love her style!

✿What is your #1 Favorite Beauty Product?
It would have to be the Benefit Cosmetics High Brow. It’s like a pencil and you take it and make a line underneath your eyebrow following its shape. Then you smudge it a little bit and it gives such a nice allusion to your eyes and makes your brows look awesome! Also if you wax your eyebrows you have to wait till the hair grows back and this pencil covers the hairs. It’s like MAGIC!

✿If you could have any career in Fashion, what would you be?

Segments of Life. Even though I mainly talk about beauty, I didn't want to be restricted to only one thing. I wanted to give general advice, cover a wide range of topics, personal blogging, anything I find relevant and interesting, that I want to share with fellow bloggers.

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
I don't get a lot of spare time to do what I want. My schedule is very hectic, and I felt like I was losing the old, bubbly me. This just felt right, in bringing out the old me, and keeping me sane throughout all the roadblocks/troubles I face, because it's something's to distract me, and I'm happy. I was thinking about it for a while, but just decided to go for it, in Jan 2011.

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
I love communicating with other bloggers, in something we all share in common - our love for beauty and fashion. Most importantly, I get to bring out this side of me I can't in my profession.

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
Myself, my patients, friends who come to me for advice, youtube videos, magazines and TV shows.

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
I just really want to expand it, and make it BIG. I would love to share what I know, and also learn from others in the process, and hopefully get a significant amount of followers, which will obviously feel sooo amazing to know people are reading what I'm writing!

MakeupbytiffanyD (makeupbytiffanyd.blogspot.com). She is an amazing beauty blogger and youtube guru. Her videos are amazing! She is the first blogger who's videos/posts I became addicted to, that actually drawed me closer to the blogger world.

♥Do you socialize with your Followers?
Yes, of course! When they're putting in the effort and putting up posts, it is nice to be appreciated for it, to know your words are being heard.

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
What they blog about - usually look for similar interests, and if they wrap it up nicely, with good presentation, well, then I'm sold!

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
Stick to it, put in the effort, don't plagerize, and you'll get noticed for your hard work for sure - just be patient!

✿What is your Personal Style?
Simple and professional during the day, and decked out and glamorous at night if I'm going out.

I don't know if she counts as a Fashion icon, but I simply adore Eva Longoria!

I'm a huge Clinique fan. Their dramatically different moisturizing gel has been my favorite mosturizer for most of my life.

♥Are you a Fashion Blogger or a Beauty Blogger?
Well I’m a little bit of each. I have a beauty channel on YouTube because I am a junkie for cosmetics and also I follow everything of fashion. From blogs to magazines, TV; you name it. So I try to post best of both worlds.

♥What is the name of your Blog? Why did you choose that name?
The name of my blog is Ash ‘Defines*. The reason I choose this name is because before I started doing all these social media events. I used to do styling and makeup as a hobby, let’s say a part time job. My clients/friends would always ask me how I do certain things whether it would be make-up or buying clothes. So when I decided to start my channel and blog the main purpose was to “EXPLAIN” how-to do certain things. Now to use the name “Ashna explains” sounded weird. So I just googled another word for explanation and then “definition” came up. So it became obvious to use “define”. A nickname I have and short for Ashna is “Ash” put them together and you get Ash ‘Defines. The star * at the end is because I always aim high (it looks cute) = Ash’ Defines*.

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
Now for my YouTube channel would be, because I have been working for about 3 years as a photo shoot director/makeup artist and stylist before starting my channel. I loved going on YouTube to see tutorials for ideas and to better my techniques. When I was on a job people would always ask me so many questions, so one day I said it would be great if I can answer and show everyone everything at once, without having to explain one by one. It seemed like the international gurus were having fun; so why not! To give it a twist and stand out I decided to do it in my native language Papiamentu in combination with English. I guess I’m the first to ever do tutorials on YouTube in Papiamentu.

One of the reasons I started blogging was because of my YouTube channel. In the beginning I didn’t have the option to post videos longer than 10 minutes, which means a lot of information I wanted to share would stay out of my video. So I needed a website where my viewers can go to and find more information on the topic or if they had missed something. Now a website is too complicated to update so I decided to switch to a blog.

Finally I needed a new hobby! At the time when I started I was a student finishing my bachelor’s degree and I needed something to break away from business. (Btw my hobby landed me a job industry). So I graduated and found a job doing things I love to do.
I started exactly a 1 year and 4 months ago.

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
I love blogging because it’s a whole entire world. You can share and design everything your way. Also the idea that there are people out there that have the same interest and

thoughts is so amazing. I personally love to read and write, so it came naturally to me that I enjoyed sharing my world with others.

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
Everything around me. Especially for my make-up tutorials I try to be more creative as possible. Like right now I have a perfume inspired series. Major influences come from other blogs/magazines/TV shows/ YouTube channels (vloggers)/ Make-up Gurus.

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
Yes, but for that you would have to follow to know what will happen. :) haha..

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
Oh wow good question! I think I have too much to mention. I would have to divide it into 3 categories because I follow Local bloggers, International bloggers, and Celebrity bloggers. If I would have to just choose 1 right now, it has to be Monica Rose. She is my favourite stylist and I just love to keep up with her world.

♥Do you socialize with your Followers?
Yes! Definitely! I really enjoy when I get comments on all my social networks. I try to post questions to get a view of my followers taste and opinions. I just enjoy it. So please talk to me more often!! :)

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
First it should have a unique feeling. I enjoy blogs where I really get to know the blogger and her/his world. I dislike copy paste. It doesn’t matter what your blogging about but just that I can understand who that person is makes it interesting to follow.

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
Be yourself. It doesn’t matter if you have 1 reader or a 1 million, just keep it real and enjoy what you do. If you enjoy it, others will too.

✿What is your Personal Style?
My overall personal style is Classis, Romantic, Casual Chic, Edgy, Street and bohemian. Yes it’s a wide range but I mix it up depending on my mood and feeling. Look at pictures below about my style.

When I first started my blog, I focused specifically on the beauty part, but now I try to match it with the fashion part.

The name is A MakeUp Lover. I choose the name, because I suddenly started gaining some sort of love for everything beauty related and after listing several other names this was the one available.

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
I've wanted to share my journey as I went through this world, so after brainstorming what was the best way to share it, I decided to start blogging. I was already familiar with Blogger so it was more easier for me to put everything together.

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
The blogging community. I love how we all support each other and share our thoughts and experiences. It's hard to gain followers and have people commenting, but for me every single comment and followers makes me a little more happy. Its shows that people like what I share and it gives me some kind of a push to not stop blogging.

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
I get my ideas from different sources like magazines, online websites and other bloggers. One of my favorite websites is http://ellegirl.elle.com/ and http://www.teenvogue.com/. That's where most of my posts come from.

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
I have a BIG plan for my blog if I keep blogging like I do now, but that's long-term and I'm not planning to share it YET :P One thing I would like to do in the short-term run is to start doing tutorials. That was actually the reason behind my blog in first place. Another this is doing outfit posts, but that will happen when I move to Holland.

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
Thats a tough call! I love so many bloggers that I can't choose just one, but I still think my favorites will keep being the magazines websites.

Of course! I try to respond to all my mail and comments personally, one by one. I love to keep in touch with all my followers and build some kind of relationship. I really admire bloggers who started a friendship with other bloggers. How they share everything about their blogging and send presents to each other, that's just pretty cool.

I have to relate to the blog. There has to be things that are useful to my life so I can keep coming back.

Don't give up! Sometimes your blog can be a little slow and you lack of inspiration, but just keep pushing. You'll see that everything will come out O.K. at the end.

Fashion for the most part, although I do touch on beauty.

♥What is the name of your Blog? Why did you choose that name?
Indigo Impression. I chose that name at first because I wasn’t sure what I wanted my blog to be, it was just my impression of the world, and indigo is my favorite color.

♥What made you start Blogging? And when exactly did you start?
I started blogging mainly because I liked the idea of writing a blog, sharing my thoughts and opinions on things. I didn’t really have a focus when I started, but it gradually evolved into a fashion blog. I started in spring 2009, though I didn’t post much, so my blog has just really kicked off this year.

♥What do you like the most about Blogging?
I like that I can share my opinions on fashion, style, or whatever, to people who read and care about the information I am putting out. I love when I get new followers, but what makes me happiest is getting comments and knowing people are enjoying my posts.

♥Where do you get your Ideas/ Inspiration for your Blog Posts?
Everywhere! I’ll see a picture of a celebrity in a great outfit and want to write about it. I’ll put on an outfit I feel good about and want to take pictures. Or I’ll just hear Lady Gaga’s new song and want to tell the world my opinion on it! Also living near NYC there are so many fashionable people, just walking down the street I will see something someone’s wearing then go home and try it out on myself.

♥Have any Future Plans for your Blog?
Definitely. The soonest will be a giveaway I have been planning, probably around my birthday in July. Further down the line I would like to make it more interactive by starting a youtube channel for tutorials, vlogs, etc. I also want to start doing blogger features like this one!

♥Who is your Favorite Blogger? And Why?
I have so many favorite bloggers, but currently I’m loving Emily from the Trendy Leopard (http://trendyleopard.blogspot.com) and Kate from Clear the Way (http://cleartheway.wordpress.com) and of course This Shopoholic!

♥Do you socialize with your Followers?
Not normally in person, though I would love to meet up with some of them. I think it would be a great way to share ideas, make new friends, and go shopping of course!

♥What makes you follow a Blog? (What should that Blog have?)
I think good content is the most important thing for a blog to have. I follow blogs to read other opinions on fashion, get beauty tips, and just to be inspired! I also think having good-quality photos is important, and interacting with your followers. I am always so flattered when someone takes the time to write back to me when I make a comment, it makes me a want to go back and read their blog when they post again.

♥Any last advice for an aspiring Blogger?
Just keep regularly posting, commenting on other blogs, and following those that interest you. People will find you and become loyal followers if you post consistently and build relationships with them. Creating twitter and facebook pages is a great way to increase traffic and stay connected with your followers. Also join IFB! I think it’s the best place out there right now to connect to other bloggers with a similar interest in fashion, that’s how I found you!

My style is constantly changing depending on the season, trends, weather, and location I’m in. At the moment I am really loving the 70’s trends for spring. And I think red lipstick makes an outfit instantly chic.

✿Who is your #1 Fashion Icon?
There are so many! But I would probably have to say Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. They rejected the idea that you have to be carrying a $1,000 bag to be fashionable. They walked around NYC looking like bums, and all of a sudden everyone wanted their look, blending luxury and shabbiness into something that had never been done before. Sure, they have had some really awful outfits, but you can’t set a trend without experimenting.

✿What is your #1 Favorite Beauty Product?
I am in love with Avon’s Glimmersticks Eyeliner, it goes on perfectly smooth and wears all day without smearing.

✿If you could have any career in Fashion, what would you be?
Either a stylist, model, or blogger! I could never be a designer, I hate sewing machines.
