Khloe Kardashian at de Bijenkorf Amsterdam ❤

When de Bijenkorf first announced that Khloe Kardashian was going to make an appearance in Amsterdam this month for the launch of the Kardashian Collection, I was beyond excited. I was really hoping to be one of the meet&greet quiz winners, but when that didn't happen I told myself I was gonna go stand in the crowd anyways. To at least try to get a glimpse of her. So the day before which was on Friday, I set my alarm on a time I knew for sure I would make it in Amsterdam before noon. DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED? I casually woke up at ONE PM lol! I did not even hear my alarm go off, which is a bit unusual. Because I usually hear it, turn it off and then go back to sleep lmao. But yeah, so I missed Khloe.....

I do kinda feel bad for not going, especially because I was so excited once I heard one of my favorite Kardashians was going to be in Amsterdam. But on the bright side, I got some good sleep yesterday :P

WEBSHOP: IKRUSH ❤

Did you hear about the online shop that was selling party dresses for just £1??? That was back in September, when IKRUSH had this sweet deal. I couldn't get on the site during that crazy sale madness, but yesterday I decided to have another look. And uhmmmm.. can you say 'new favorite online shop'? I picked out a few of my favorite items, which will be perfect for winter and the  upcoming holidays.  

The #lace sheer skater dress above is sexy and classy at the same time. Perfect for a fun (dinner) party. The other dress is a beautiful #white flattering bodycon dress with black quilted detailing. The dress has a 3/4 length, so it's perfect for a fancier event. You can even pair this dress with the #black/gold suede heel. And the #black cut out boots are so versatile. They can be worn under a casual outfit, a more edgier outfit BUT ALSO under dresses!  

The items above are all very different pieces, but I love them all. When I saw the #floral printed blazer, I was immediately sold. Same goes for the #red tartan skort. Yall know I love this trend! The #cut out dress is so daring, but ideal for some curve-showing. While the #grey hearty dress looks casual, but worn with the right accessories and shoes, it can totally be transformed into a dressier version. The two last items I picked were this #dogtooth skirt, a total big trend at moment fyi! And this #cool-looking biker jacket, dipped in gold sequin. 

The prices for all these trendy clothing is surprisingly affordable, even if they are in pounds! And an awesome plus: they have great sales all the time! But that also means your size might get sold out quicker :( Nevertheless, I am totally crazy about this online shop. I think you'll be too.

Event: World Fashion Today LIVE Talkshow ❤

Yesterday me and one of my best friends attended the World Fashion Today LIVE Talkshow in the World Fashion Centre located in Amsterdam. It was my first time ever being in there and it felt so awesome. Various interesting guest speakers, all with an affinity with fashion, gave their two cents on the changes in retail. 

 I was especially intrigued by Linda Tol, a very successful fashion blogger turned trendwatcher & retail buyer. She mentioned something about having to travel to Milan, London and some place else for fashion shows and events, all this month! I definitely want a future life like that. Another speaker that was the most interesting to me was Jos Bles from Jos Bles Fashion. He mentioned how essential it is for retailers to focus more on providing consumers with a positive shopping experience. Nowadays more and more people shop online, but often consumers want that psychical experience with a brand or product. 

The talkshow went on for about an hour and I definitely feel like I got a little (or a lot) wiser. It was crucial information I need, especially because I want to start my own business in fashion as well. It was good to get insight from people who've been doing it successfully for years. Afterwards everyone was able to network and enjoy a few drinks and delicious finger food in the Fashion Café. 

Even the food in the Fashion Café is fashionable!

 Definitely had an enjoyable night last night!
