Spring 2016 Fashion Wishlist ❤

Winter season is officially dunzo, but of course the Dutch weather is being stubborn. Still hoping the temperatures go up soon enough, so I can box up all of my winter clothing until the end of the year. With every new season, I love adding new pieces to my wardrobe that I think will match perfectly with the weather and current style trends. My favorites for this spring so far are bomber jackets and just about anything suede. Definitely two reoccurring trends in this year's spring wishlist. With so much going on before the holidays and end of the year, things can get a little stressful as far as getting all of your shopping done. Now I know this time shouldn't be all about gifts, but let's face it.. it's a big part of the celebration. And depending on the size of your social circle, shopping can get pretty pricey. Fall 2015 Fashion: Grey is the New Black ❤

Grey is such a versatile color when it comes to fashion. I was really into it this past summer, but I love it even more this time of year. It's simplistic, oozes sophistication and is basically the new black in my eyes. I've gathered a few grey items, that I would love to add to my fall wardrobe. I'm especially loving how there are tons of shades to choose from.

The first top items include some everyday platform boots, a cozy "Not your Bae" sweater, a very pretty metallic top and a grid check duster. This duster coat is perfect for days you feel like layering. The four bottom items are a nice bouclé oversized coat, a casual rib knit pencil skirt and a fancier metallic pencil skirt, as well as some really fashionable ankle pointed stiletto boot. 

I like the look of this bouclé cardigan and the knit roll neck crop jumper seems like it can keep you really warm, despite it being cropped. And nothing screams fall more than a wool hat, am I right? I also really like this faux fur satchel and plunge ruched knitted dress. As well as the light grey nail polish & dark grey nail polish from H&M.

Report: H&M Exclusive Beauty Event in Utrecht ❤

Hello lovelies,

As a H&M Club member, I was one of the lucky ones to receive an invite to the H&M Exclusive Beauty event in Utrecht last Tuesday. I haven't been around in the blogging scene in a while, but I was very curious about the new beauty line and just the event in general. But unfortunately it didn't really go as I had hoped it would. H&M announced on the invite that the first 100 members in line would receive a surprise goodiebag. So with that in mind, SAS, her friend and I made sure we got there early. And we were, but to my opinion the organization was a total mess. There was no clear indication about the line until like 5 minutes prior to the event, so even though we were for sure one of the first 100's to arrive, we ended up getting in the store right after they ran out of goodiebags. Such a bummer!

After I got over the whole line and goodiebag situation, I was excited to encounter the new beauty products. And even that was kind of disappointing. The products were beautiful, sometimes a little overpriced, but I was hoping for a much nicer presentation. The products were set up in a normal store setting, so with 100+ attendees, that little corner got way too crowded to get a good look at the entire line. But luckily I still managed to get a couple of shots.

Even though the only music festival I'm going to this summer is at the beginning of August, I'm already stressing about what I'm gonna wear. Because we all know, festivals are not just about the music anymore: they're like an open air runway show! Event: Pearl Your Lifestyle Event Jaarbeurs Utrecht ❤

Heey lovelies,

Last Saturday ROOTS-PR invited me to attend the 2nd edition of Pearl your Lifestyle event in Jaarbeurs Utrecht. I brought along my friend Omaily, my extra photographer for the day, and together we roamed passed all the fashion, beauty and food stands. We got to do our eyebrows, get flash tattoos, hair care advice and makeup tips, eat delicious baked pastries from our lovely island Curaçao, watch models strut on the runway and more. And when we wanted to sit down for a moment, we had a lovely "VIP" area for bloggers to charge our phones and network. All though I had absolutely no phone connection whatsoever and quickly went through all the shopping stands, I did enjoy my time. 

Event: #HMLovesRotterdam Exclusive Opening ❤

Happy Friday!

In exactly two hours the largest H&M flagship store of Europe opens in the center of Rotterdam, but I had the privilege to check out the store during the exclusive opening that happened last Wednesday. I was really blown away by how huge the 4500 square feet store really was, the new collection and just everything in between. The new Monki & Weekday stores that are actually connected to H&M were also celebrated!
