Event | Glamour Fashion-Vintage Live 2016 ❤

Sundays are usually days I like to do absolutely nothing but lay in my bed and catch up on my favorite series. But today, I traveled to Amsterdam for GlamourNL's Fashion-Vintage Live: the biggest offline fashion market of the year! Shoppers got the opportunity to raid the closets of tons of fashion editors, style icons, stylists, bloggers and Glamour readers. When I arrived around one o'clock, it wasn't as crowded as I expected it to be. But that only meant that it was so much easier to walk around the hundreds of fashion booths and food trucks. Here's a recap of today's event.

Event | Zalando Bloggers Awards 2015 ❤

Last weekend I got to go to the Zalando Blogger Awards for the first time. And because of that, I didn't really know what to expect. But it was pretty fun and I even got to tag along with a few fellow bloggers. See more of the events through the pictures below.

Report: H&M Exclusive Beauty Event in Utrecht ❤

Hello lovelies,

As a H&M Club member, I was one of the lucky ones to receive an invite to the H&M Exclusive Beauty event in Utrecht last Tuesday. I haven't been around in the blogging scene in a while, but I was very curious about the new beauty line and just the event in general. But unfortunately it didn't really go as I had hoped it would. H&M announced on the invite that the first 100 members in line would receive a surprise goodiebag. So with that in mind, SAS, her friend and I made sure we got there early. And we were, but to my opinion the organization was a total mess. There was no clear indication about the line until like 5 minutes prior to the event, so even though we were for sure one of the first 100's to arrive, we ended up getting in the store right after they ran out of goodiebags. Such a bummer!

After I got over the whole line and goodiebag situation, I was excited to encounter the new beauty products. And even that was kind of disappointing. The products were beautiful, sometimes a little overpriced, but I was hoping for a much nicer presentation. The products were set up in a normal store setting, so with 100+ attendees, that little corner got way too crowded to get a good look at the entire line. But luckily I still managed to get a couple of shots.

Event: Press Opening Primark Den Haag ❤

Hello lovelies!

I wanted to get this post up as soon as I got home from the Press Opening of the newest Primark addition in the Hague, so you are able to fit a little shopping trip into today's schedule. You're welcome. So I have been looking forward to this day for a little over a week now and can you believe I had the nerve to oversleep? Anyway. After a warm welcome, a catered breakfast, an official opening ceremony and a short tour, it was time to shooopppppp! I'd seen so many things I liked, so many things I wanted, it was just crazy. It was a bit of a race though, because I in no way wanted to still be browsing around when the humongous herd of people were let into the store. Luckily I was already in the checkout line when the doors officially opened!

Event: Nelly Pop Up Club - Amsterdam, Rotterdam & The Hague ❤

Hello lovelies!

I have had such a busy weekend. But I can't in no way complain, because picking out free clothing and shoes was one of the main activities! If you've been following my blog for a while now, or you know me personally, you know I can't ever say no to free clothing! So when I heard that Nelly.com was having a Nelly Pop Up Club in Amsterdam, Rotterdam & the Hague, to give out "Black Tickets" for the first 100 in line, I rallied up my cousins and friends, friends of cousins, friends of friends to get ourselves some early Christmas presents.

I was a little surprised at the small selection we were able to choose from, but nonetheless the "walk-in closet" was filled with some pretty glamorous stuff. And whenever you mix tasty cocktails, heavenly popcorn, stunning clothes and a bunch of fashionable females, that always calls for a good time! Below you can see a little compilation of the event in the different cities.

Event: Pearl Your Lifestyle Event Jaarbeurs Utrecht ❤

Last Saturday ROOTS-PR invited me to attend the 2nd edition of Pearl your Lifestyle event in Jaarbeurs Utrecht. I brought along my friend Omaily, my extra photographer for the day, and together we roamed passed all the fashion, beauty and food stands. We got to do our eyebrows, get flash tattoos, hair care advice and makeup tips, eat delicious baked pastries from our lovely island Curaçao, watch models strut on the runway and more. And when we wanted to sit down for a moment, we had a lovely "VIP" area for bloggers to charge our phones and network. All though I had absolutely no phone connection whatsoever and quickly went through all the shopping stands, I did enjoy my time. 

Event: #HMLovesRotterdam Exclusive Opening ❤

Happy Friday!

In exactly two hours the largest H&M flagship store of Europe opens in the center of Rotterdam, but I had the privilege to check out the store during the exclusive opening that happened last Wednesday. I was really blown away by how huge the 4500 square feet store really was, the new collection and just everything in between. The new Monki & Weekday stores that are actually connected to H&M were also celebrated! In case you can't make it in time for the official opening, I'll gladly share a few snaps to get your excitement going!

EVENT: Miele Catwalk 2012 ❤

Last wednesday I got a tweet from NellyNL saying that I won two tickets to Miele Catwalk 2012. And I couldn't be happier. I mean a fashion show, glamorous dress code and seats at the first range? Any one would be trilled about good news like that. As excited as I was, I forgot to bring my camera stupidly enough. By the time I realized, it was far too late to turn back. Luckily for my camera phone I was still able to capture a few moments here and there.

XL Event Report: Spring & Heels Bloggers Party ❤

After months and months of planning, deliberating, sending emails and promoting, the Spring & Heels Bloggers Party was finally here! Yesterday was the big day! For me and the other planners the party even started a few hours before the event, as we went grocery shopping and getting everything ready. We were so excited and couldn't wait to meet all the bloggers.

We had delicious and colorful vanilla & chocolate flavored cupcakes, cute sandwiches, chocolate chip cookies, candy and cold beverages. 

Besides sitting down, chatting and laughing with each other, we had come up with a few activities for the bloggers to socialize in a fun way. The first one was a Fashion & Beauty Quiz. We asked the bloggers 20 questions and the ones with the highest score got a lovely scarf that was sponsored by Loved by Blanche. Congratulations to Daphne & Rozanne!

Our second activity was one where the bloggers in groups of 2 or 3, had to create one outfit from items in two Fashionista magazines and in one Grazia magazine. The theme was Fashion week, and the bloggers had to think about the complete look, so the outfit, the hair, the makeup, the shoes and the accessories. They were so excited, which made us even more excited! We gave them about a half an hour to get cutting, get sticking and get creative. The looks they came up with was so great, but unfortunately only one group could be the winner.

After the creating time was up, we let each group present their look. And afterwards me, Gia, Jen and Omaily went at the back to deliberate about all the looks and chose the winner. 

The judges all agreed that group 3 (blue paper) was the WINNER! We loved how they combined all the different patterns and still make it look good all together! Congratulations to Fenna & Dianthe. They also got to choose a Loved by Blanche scarf.

We had one scarf left over, but 3 girls that didn't win one yet. So we decided to raffle it. Gia thought of a number and the girl that guessed it first got it!

The time went by so fast, so when it was almost time to go, we gave all the bloggers a little goodiebag as: 'A BIG THANK YOU' for coming! Luckily they were so happy with it.

After it was time for url-sharing and before the goodbyes, we took one group photo to remember this event by! I want to sincerely thank everyone that was part of this whole event. We received so many emails and tweets from bloggers asking if we are planning to organize another bloggers event, since they couldn't make it to this one. And the answer is, we would love too. But for right now, we can't promise anything yet. But we will try our best to do so, we would love to meet other bloggers ;)

Overall the event was a big success, we got to meet other bloggers, other bloggers got to meet other bloggers and socialize.. and that was the main point of our event. I am so satisfied and even more EXHAUSTED! But it was all worth it.
