New In: Primark DH Fashion, Shoes & Outerwear ❤

Hello lovelies!

If you've seen yesterdays post about the Primark press opening in the Hague, you know I'm showing my newest items today. One of the perks of being invited to such an opening, is being gifted a generous amount of shopping money on a gift card. Who doesn't love that? See what I picked up and get surprised at how little they cost!

I've been wanting some everyday boots ever since mine got worn out a while back, but never bought new ones cause I didn't want to spend too much money. So I nearly went loco when I spotted these two.

Event: Press Opening Primark Den Haag ❤

Hello lovelies!

I wanted to get this post up as soon as I got home from the Press Opening of the newest Primark addition in the Hague, so you are able to fit a little shopping trip into today's schedule. You're welcome. So I have been looking forward to this day for a little over a week now and can you believe I had the nerve to oversleep? Anyway. After a warm welcome, a catered breakfast, an official opening ceremony and a short tour, it was time to shooopppppp! I'd seen so many things I liked, so many things I wanted, it was just crazy. It was a bit of a race though, because I in no way wanted to still be browsing around when the humongous herd of people were let into the store. Luckily I was already in the checkout line when the doors officially opened!

Event: Nelly Pop Up Club - Amsterdam, Rotterdam & The Hague ❤

Hello lovelies!

I have had such a busy weekend. But I can't in no way complain, because picking out free clothing and shoes was one of the main activities! If you've been following my blog for a while now, or you know me personally, you know I can't ever say no to free clothing! So when I heard that Nelly.com was having a Nelly Pop Up Club in Amsterdam, Rotterdam & the Hague, to give out "Black Tickets" for the first 100 in line, I rallied up my cousins and friends, friends of cousins, friends of friends to get ourselves some early Christmas presents.

I was a little surprised at the small selection we were able to choose from, but nonetheless the "walk-in closet" was filled with some pretty glamorous stuff. And whenever you mix tasty cocktails, heavenly popcorn, stunning clothes and a bunch of fashionable females, that always calls for a good time! Below you can see a little compilation of the event in the different cities.

Outfit: Twinkeltje Twinkeltje Little Star ❤

Hello lovies,

I haven't done a proper outfit post in such a long time, but I was really excited after shooting today so here it goes! Monochrome is still one of my most favorite all-time trends, but I always like to add something extra to this look. Like my favorite denim booties! The blouse I'm wearing today was a gift from a trendy Dutch online shop called Twinkeltje.nl. It's definitely one of those type of blouses that can literally be worn in so many different ways. As you can see this time I dressed it up a little, but throw on a pair of converse and it'll look just as trendy.

Now as you can see the blouse is slightly see-through, which I didn't realize at first. But it's nothing an appropriate color bra can't fix! I think what I appreciate the most is the circle cut-out detailing at the top, the back and the sleeves. It would have been such a plain white blouse without it (which I'm not saying is bad), but I just love when a basic item turns out to be not-so basic! And because it's so versatile, you can wear it to school, to dinner, even on a fun date since it's super flowy and comfortable. But if white is not really your color, or you're clumsy (don't worry we all are sometimes) you can get them in different colors.

My 24th Birthday: Pictures & Outfit! ❤

Heey lovies,

So as some of you may know, yesterday I celebrated my 24th birthday! And since I love all the pictures we took, I wanted to share some of them on my blog for all of you to enjoy as well. We went to the fun fair and after a few short rides, we later ended up eating at a lovely Greek restaurant 'Athene Palace' in the city. Take a look at some of our fun snapshots!

New In: Tropical prints, #FASHIONCODE & more ❤

Hi lovelies! Out of a little Saturday boredom me and my friend ended up in the city yesterday afternoon and decided to have a look in some of our favorite stores. I never intentionally leave the house with the mindset of spending money on clothes. But hey if such a moment occurs, I always just roll with it lol. But just like all my other hauls, I just "had to have" all of these! ❤__❤

The first two items I got at ZARA. And if it wasn't for a gift card I hadn't used up yet, I totally would have missed out on these, cause I actually never go into Zara... #truestory. But nevertheless, I am drooling over these gorgeous shorts that were on sale and this awesome-ass clutch!

Event: NELLY High Heels @ Penthouse Den Haag ❤

Hey lovies! With a group of four shoe lovers I made my way to The Penthouse in the Hague yesterday for the Nelly High Heels event. We arrived almost four(!!) hours before the event, just to secure our spot within the first 100 arriving girls. Which afterwards didn't seem necessary AT ALL. But better safe with free heels (+ a goodiebag) than sorry, right? In the meantime we decided to get a drink at TP bar and go elsewhere to grab a bite to eat. So the time flew by. I remember going to the Nelly High Heels event in Utrecht a few years ago. So I kind of knew what to expect, but then again I was also very curious to see the choice of heels this year. I believe they felt a little short (total amount wise), but they were no less gorgeous! Here's a small impression of the event.

My first choice of heels were called High Gladiator Sandals in black, which unfortunately I can not find on the site. But my second and third choices were the Buckle Sandal in brown and the Holograph Pumps in blue/green. Doesn't the pump remind you of a mermaid? So cute! They said the heels are supposed to be delivered to us up to 5/6 weeks from now, which is kind of a bummer. But hey, that's something new to look forward to!

Yesterday I was wearing my H&M black cut-out top, Boohoo.com grey rouched side maxi-skirt and Diewilikhebben.com denim booties.

If you feel like getting free Nelly.com heels, but missed out on the events in Amsterdam and the Hague: check here to see what city they'll be in next! PS: the one in Rotterdam is TONIGHT! ;)

Beautiful Textures: A Hair Miracle? ❤

So last week my aunt was telling me about this hair productline she totally fell in love with: Beautiful Textures. And since she was sure it would repair my damaged hair, I let her talk me into trying them out. I haven't been taking much care of my hair lately, so I'm eager to start and see the change! Ever since I moved to Holland I have been using hair products from Andrelon. My aunt pointed out that those products are not suitable for my hair type at all. So basically I've been using the wrong stuff for about 3 years...lol.
I recently bought the Beautiful Textures Tangle Taming Moisturizing Shampoo, Tangle Taming Leave-in Conditioning and Shine & Silken Growth Oil. These products are suitable for mixed textures (Curly, Wavy, Kinky-Coily, Frizzy). And they smell awesomeeee!!! All products were between 5 and 7.
In addition to the Beautiful Textures products, I also bought the Sofn'free n' Pretty Thick & Healthy Olive Oil Cream and Darkline Pure Shea Butter. The shea butter actually smells pretty awful at first, but you'll quickly get used to the smell. You can use it for both your hair and skin.

I am going to start using these products asap! Do you want me to keep a hair dairy on my blog? Let me know :) Oh and you can buy these products at both:  A&F Cosmetics and Nubian Queen  (Hobbemaplein, Den Haag).

Shopping Night Haul ❤

Last Thursday was Shopping Night in the Hague as there was sale everywhere and almost all stores were open till midnight. I just had to take advantage of all the sales! Unfortunately (or is it luckily?) the sale wasn't all that impressive to me. I could hardly find items I liked. Such a bummer :(
This BEAUTIFUL blue necklace and pink & glitter clutch were from H&M. I had such a hard time deciding which necklace I would take home with me as there were honestly so many to choose from. I first had my eyes set on this turquoise beads necklace (know which one I'm talking about?), but after seeing a few of them already torn, I decided to go with this blue one.
This simple top from H&M was the only thing I got on sale! And the reasons why I bought it was 1. it has that drop armhole trend that I like so much  :D and 2. I'm planning to do such a fun DIY with it. Can't wait to show you that.
I also wanted these bright neon shoes from New Look sooo bad, but they didn't have my size (AGAIN!!!) :(

What do you think of my haul?

FANTASTIC NEWS for The Hague ❤

Just this morning I was complaining to myself that new stores never open in the Hague. I was referring to Monki, since they're opening a new venue in Utrecht soon. But I'm taking every angry thought back, because I just read the most AWESOMEST FANTASTIC GREAT news ever!

For a long time now there has been speculations that stores like Forever 21, Primark were opening in the Hague. And FINALLY the rumors have been confirmed!!! It's seems that 5 new stores are going to get their own venue in the centrum of the Hague, Forever 21, Hollister, Marks & Spencer, Primark & Topshop. The stores will each get their own surface of at least 4000 square feet divided into multiple floors!!!

Obviously it would take a lot of time to build these stores, so they are expected to be done in 2013 or at the latest 2014! Honestly I don't care that I have to wait this long, it has been confirmed and that is all that matters to me!!!
I AM SOOOOO EXCITED, OH MY GOSH!!!

If I ever had thoughts about moving.....all have disappeared. My butt is staying RIGHT HERE.
Can you imagine actually shopping at Forever 21 soon? Not having to shop online or travel all the way to Antwerpen? Oh gosh :D:D
