The Big Beauty Book for the Holidays: Nails ❤

In my previous blog post I've shared ten outfit ideas for the Holidays, so it's only right I show you what I think are great beauty products as well. I'm calling it the Big Beauty Book and today I'm starting it of with some beautiful nail polishes. Because our nails are just as important as a flawlessly beat face! So go ahead and pick your favorite polish for the season! Wouldn't dare leave out some bright and sparkly polishes for all you glitter lovers out there. But was sure to include some solids in there as well. Enjoy reading!

Fall 2015 Fashion: Grey is the New Black ❤

Grey is such a versatile color when it comes to fashion. I was really into it this past summer, but I love it even more this time of year. It's simplistic, oozes sophistication and is basically the new black in my eyes. I've gathered a few grey items, that I would love to add to my fall wardrobe. I'm especially loving how there are tons of shades to choose from.

The first top items include some everyday platform boots, a cozy "Not your Bae" sweater, a very pretty metallic top and a grid check duster. This duster coat is perfect for days you feel like layering. The four bottom items are a nice bouclé oversized coat, a casual rib knit pencil skirt and a fancier metallic pencil skirt, as well as some really fashionable ankle pointed stiletto boot. 

I like the look of this bouclé cardigan and the knit roll neck crop jumper seems like it can keep you really warm, despite it being cropped. And nothing screams fall more than a wool hat, am I right? I also really like this faux fur satchel and plunge ruched knitted dress. As well as the light grey nail polish & dark grey nail polish from H&M.

Touch of Gold: Diewilikhebben Sandals ❤

     HELLO LOVELY READERS

A couple of months ago I received some gold heeled sandals from DieWilIkHebben and it completely crossed my mind that I haven't really shown you guys on-pictures of them yet. So when I wore the shoes a couple of days ago, I made sure to take some pictures for the blog. Butt.... the  most unfortunate thing just happened, as the pictures accidentally got deleted off of my camera :( So I had to do some quick improvising and snapped these pictures. 

No my camera isn't broken, I just really like this effect lol

Even though I am obsessed with shoes, I generally do not like feet and toes lol. That is why I'm really liking the strapped-all-over heels lately. Because they cover your feet so nicely and make them look kind of elegant. And all though I'm more used to wearing thicker heels, these did not really tire me as I initially thought they would. And as you can (hopefully) see in the pictures, the shoes have a double strap at the ankles as well which prevented my feet from slipping as I walked. These are just my second pair of Diewilikhebben.com shoes, but hopefully I'll be rocking more of their shoes in this upcoming summer! But of course, you can rock their shoes all year round! Aaaand DWIH has also just launched their newest product, the SHOECANDY! So definitely stay tuned for more of that on my blog soon. 

Oh, and the nail polish I'm wearing on my toes are the HEMA Long Lasting Polish in the mint green color 842. Just in case anyone was wondering...

My Galaxy Nails ❤

So all of you have probably already seen the Galaxy nail art a million times on youtube and other blogs, but I wanted to try it out for myself. I started off by checking out a few youtube tutorials, but then noticed ALL of them were so different from eachother. So I decided to go off and let my own creativity kick in. The colors I used are black, purple, grey, red, dark blue, white, and colored glitter. Kitchen sponges were the only suitable sponges I had. 

I used all the nail polishes in this exact same order

Proud Island Girl: W.I.C Colorfoul Curaçao ❤

Every time a fashion designer or brand decides to use the name Curaçao for his/their next big item, or every time there is a new beauty product named Curaçao, I get that little proud feeling inside. How come this tiny tiny island, one you can't even see on a world map, is still so popular?  The answer is unknown, but I love it!

If you're a beauty lover you probably know the nail polish brand, W.I.C by Herome. They are now coming out with a new limited collection called: Colourful Curaçao Collection. With 6 beautiful colors all named after some of Curaçao's lovely beaches.

If you want these new tropical shades in your nail polish collection, you have to hurry. They are going on sale as off today!! And we all know, limited collections never last long. OPI Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection ❤

Disney's character Minnie Mouse has been quite a trendsetter for the past years, with her huge bows and dotted fashion. Now O.P.I is even bringing out a new limited collection inspired by this very feminine mouse. The four polishes are all pink, ofcourse. This limited collection is will available in June.

Milani Neon Nailpolishes ❤

Since neon is already big this season, I have been going crazy trying to find a few neon accessories to colorboost my outfits. I might need to go on a few more hunts! Definitely because I'm dying to find some stylish statement necklaces, but more importantly I'm dying to find the perfect yellow neon nailpolish to rock this spring!

When I was still living at home, I had a phase where I was such a neon-nailpolish freak, so I had to buy these nail polishes! The Milani SPECIALTY NAIL LACQUER NEON contains 4 more colors (Techno Red, Awesome Orange, Dude Blue and Pink Rocks!). I bought these a long time ago in Curacao, so I'm not sure if this collection is still available.

About a week ago I got an email from Eyes Lips Face about their €1 shipping offer, and I couldn't resist. Normally I don't really shop at e.l.f because of the high shipping cost. They're up to €6.95, so this deal was definitely a great deal. Because a lot of their products are priced at just €1 which sums up super fast, I promised myself I wouldn't go overboard. Gold and Purple Catrice ❤

For the ones that follow me on twitter, might have noticed a couple of tweets about me finally finding a job. I'm very excited to start working, but I most excited about the extra shopping money I'll earn.. lol
Yesterday was my "first" day at work, where we got a lot of training to really master every skill needed (I started working at this catering business, so you'll need to know how to serve multiple plates, how to pour wine etc.. very fun, but hard work!)
There is one thing I don't like about it though.. the ladies are not allowed to wear nail polish.
I mean it's understandable why not, but I still don't like that rule.

Especially now, that I'm seeing and buying all these pretty colors. Yesterday I bought two from Catrice..and they're gorgeoussssss!! I couldn't help but put them on, just to show you.
On my left hand I have the Catrice, Ultimate Nail Lacquer in the color: 460 In the Bronx.

And on my right hand I have the Catrice, Ultimate Nail Lacquer in the color: 380 Forget - Me - Not!

Personally I love the purple one better..especially in daylight, the color really pops out! They were both €2,49 at Kruidvat.

I know my pictures don't always show the colors in the right quality, but I hope you can still get a good view! Do you buy your nail polishes at Kruidvat as well? Which one did you buy recently?
