New In: HEMA Marquee Letter Lights ❤

Just a couple of days after I raved about the marquee lights from HEMA, I discovered that they were on sale for a little while on the website! I couldn't pass it up so before I knew it, I was checking out my initials. Today I got to pick up my packages at HEMA and bring these babies home. 

I am obsessed! And I love the fact that the lights don't have any cords and are therefore battery operated. It just makes them much more portable and look a lot cuter as a decor piece. For more available marquee lights, check out HEMA.

Trendy Interior Tip: Marquee Lights from HEMA.nl ❤

Lately most of my pins have been interior related. I just love learning about the new trends in home decor land and finding inspiration for my own (future) apartment. One trend that I've come across a lot lately are the letter lights, or as I've seen them being called: Marquee Lights. They're the perfect decor piece for in your office space or bedroom. According to Pinterest, marquee lights are a fitting DIY project. But in case you're not really the crafty type, you can probably also get them in stores near you.

You're especially in luck if you're a Dutchie, because I found these trendy lights on the website of HEMA yesterday. Maybe I'm super late and this is old news. But I just had to share it with all of you. I couldn't find majority of the letters in the alphabet, so I'm not sure if they sold out, or if HEMA never had them. Touch of Gold: Diewilikhebben Sandals ❤

     HELLO LOVELY READERS

A couple of months ago I received some gold heeled sandals from DieWilIkHebben and it completely crossed my mind that I haven't really shown you guys on-pictures of them yet. So when I wore the shoes a couple of days ago, I made sure to take some pictures for the blog. Butt.... the  most unfortunate thing just happened, as the pictures accidentally got deleted off of my camera :( So I had to do some quick improvising and snapped these pictures. 

No my camera isn't broken, I just really like this effect lol

Even though I am obsessed with shoes, I generally do not like feet and toes lol. That is why I'm really liking the strapped-all-over heels lately. Because they cover your feet so nicely and make them look kind of elegant. And all though I'm more used to wearing thicker heels, these did not really tire me as I initially thought they would. And as you can (hopefully) see in the pictures, the shoes have a double strap at the ankles as well which prevented my feet from slipping as I walked. These are just my second pair of Diewilikhebben.com shoes, but hopefully I'll be rocking more of their shoes in this upcoming summer! But of course, you can rock their shoes all year round! Aaaand DWIH has also just launched their newest product, the SHOECANDY! So definitely stay tuned for more of that on my blog soon. 

Oh, and the nail polish I'm wearing on my toes are the HEMA Long Lasting Polish in the mint green color 842. Just in case anyone was wondering...

We Poppin Champagne! ❤

It's my birthdaaaaaaay!
No it's not...
But it will be in less than 3 months and I'm so so so so excited
Hahah now I know it's still a long wait, but I'm turning 21..
It's kinda a big deal to me, so I really want to make it extra special & unforgettable.

Unfortunately, I have NO idea what so ever on how to celebrate..NONE!
I do have the cake(s) in mind! :D
And the color.. GREEN! yeah right! Pink babyyyyy
I still need to find the perfect outfit, but that's something I'll worry about later on though..when there's still like a month left.

So as you can see I still have a lot to plan..but I am so excited I get to scrape one thing of my list! Champagne glasses!!! Can you guess in which color? :DOMG.. the excitement I got when seeing these.. waaaaaauw!
They're plastic and they come in packages of 4..
I think I must have grabbed 6 packages of these!!! Better safe than sorry, right?
I would have been really devastated if I found out I needed a few more, but they were sold out! So now I really have to come up with an invitation list, to see if it's enough or if I need to run back soon.

And I almost forgot to mention from were they are.. hahah too much excitement I guess. I got these at HEMA (Dutch store) for €2,95 a package.

Gotta start brainstorming about party/ celebration ideas..

Doll houses are not just for Dolls ❤

I remember ever since I was a little girl, I loved playing with dolls. I had my mom build me a huge doll house with at least 10 rooms. I had so many barbie sets, and I could entertain myself with them for hours and hours. I loved it!
Now that I'm much older I traded my dolls with clothes and makeup, as I love playing with those now.
But doll houses? They never got old! At least that's what I came to know now.















Look how they turned a traditional doll house into a nail polish holder! AMAZINGGGG..
You can buy this at Hema for about €50 or maybe at a Kringloopwinkel (secondhand store)

If I had that many nail polishes, I would definitely go get one of those!
