And just like that, it's time for the last of my Christmas gift guides. New In: HEMA Marquee Letter Lights ❤

Just a couple of days after I raved about the marquee lights from HEMA, I discovered that they were on sale for a little while on the website! I couldn't pass it up so before I knew it, I was checking out my initials. Today I got to pick up my packages at HEMA and bring these babies home. 

I am obsessed! And I love the fact that the lights don't have any cords and are therefore battery operated. It just makes them much more portable and look a lot cuter as a decor piece. For more available marquee lights, check out HEMA.

Trendy Interior Tip: Marquee Lights from HEMA.nl ❤

Lately most of my pins have been interior related. I just love learning about the new trends in home decor land and finding inspiration for my own (future) apartment. One trend that I've come across a lot lately are the letter lights, or as I've seen them being called: Marquee Lights. They're the perfect decor piece for in your office space or bedroom. According to Pinterest, marquee lights are a fitting DIY project. But in case you're not really the crafty type, you can probably also get them in stores near you.

You're especially in luck if you're a Dutchie, because I found these trendy lights on the website of HEMA yesterday. Maybe I'm super late and this is old news. But I just had to share it with all of you. I couldn't find majority of the letters in the alphabet, so I'm not sure if they sold out, or if HEMA never had them. Dream Interior: Decorative Ladder ❤

Life after college can be stressful. But one thing that I'm really looking forward to is finding my dream apartment. Or at least, decorating it like a dream! I'm not quite sure yet how I want it to look, but luckily I do know what I like. But that's also a part of the problem: I like way too much. I really like the idea of an industrial interior, but I'm also into the "Parisian" style design. Also, I like decorative pieces that are somewhat more unique and particular. So, it's definitely going to be a challenge to bring it all together nicely. 

Per usual, Pinterest has been a great way for me to get inspired and discover new interior design ideas I might want to consider. In these new interior series on the blog, I'll share them with you in hopes to pass on the inspiration. Today, I'm showing you how simple wooden ladders can spice up any space in your home. Home Decor: My New Mannequin Friend ❤

Heey lovies! I'm excitingly writing this blog post while staring at my new still friend. For theee longest time I've been wanting a dress mannequin in my room, because I feel like every fashionable girl should have one. They're like a real-size barbie doll...without a face..and limbs HAHA. So from now on I can consider myself as a true Fashionista! Eeeek I am so so happy Xenos had these on sale.

New In: Action Home Decorations ❤

I have an 'Action' store right outside my house basically and I try to go in there regularly. They have the cutest home decorations. Walking down the aisles of Action always makes me so happy to be living on my own, knowing that I can buy anything I want without roommates disagreeing.
I never ever go home empty-handed. I do try not to go overboard, because their prices are so cheap. It's easy to get overwhelmed.

I'm actually really excited to show you what I bought recently.

Haha just now I noticed that it's crooked

I saw this heart pastry holder from a far and knew it had to go into my basket. My favorite fashion blogger DulceCandy, once posted an instagram picture where she used a pastry holder as her new jewelry holder. So original! Mine isn't exactly the same as hers was, but will probably have the same purpose. 

I love candles! I never lit them, but I love having them everywhere around the house. Especially these scented ones.

I loves these types of vases, for the simple fact that they can be empty but still look pretty cute.

Now it probably wasn't the best idea to buy this white carpet. But it was calling my name.. It's going to be impossible to keep this clean but it's nothing a hand wash can't fix. I hope. 

This is probably my most favorite Action item yet! I saw it and there was an instant smile on my face. I don't even drink tea that often! Maybe this cup will change that.

When I'm done re-organizing and re-decorating my home, this will be the last thing I'll put up. A house that will finally feel like home. Well at least, my 2nd home. Curacao will always be my first.

I'll probably visit Action again somewhere in mid- or end of January, to see if they got new items for me to take home.

WANT: Skull Candles ❤

Skulls have been a big trend in the fashion world for quite some time now. I haven't always been a fan of it, but I'm becoming one more and more now. Especially of the skull candles. My house (studio) is pretty feminine with its pink walls and white furniture. But I really want to have some skull candles laying round the house, so the hunt is on!!

Unfortunately all of these pictures above are from weheartit, so there's no way to find out where these candles are from! I even browsed around on ebay..but no luck. I'm not giving up though!

Home Inspiration ❤

I'm always buying cute stuff I can put around my house to make it seem more feminine. I live in a student studio, which is ideal since I don't like sharing my bathroom or kitchen with roommates. And I can't decorate and re-decorate as much as I want. I always find great inspiration pictures on weheartit and today I want to share a few.
