Ways to Spend Valentine's Day When You're Single ❤

All the single ladies, all the single ladies.. now put your hands up! Personally I've never had this problem, but Valentine's Day can be a very lousy day for some people when they're single. Yes, it's a very commercialized holiday. But I feel like people tend to forget that this day isn't just about having a significant other to show love to, but also family and friends you hold dear to your heart! But just in case, you think you're going to be miserable, I've come up with ten ways to make this year's Valentine's day a more special one. Have fun reading :)

1. A Solo Netflix and Chill

If you're a homebody like me, I'm sure there's nothing you enjoy more than your own company in the comfort of your home. And being single on Valentine's Day shouldn't feel any different. So climb in bed or curl up on your comfy coach, have a big bowl of buttered popcorn besides you at all times and let the binge watching of your favorite old shows begin! 

2. DIY Home Spa

When you feel like taking a little break from all that netflixing, treat yourself to a relaxing home-spa session! Your mind and body will love you for it. What you'll need: some scented candles, zen music, colorful bath bombs, body scrub, face & hair mask.. and a bottle of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, if you're feeling fancy. 

3. Pinterest Dinner Party

In case you rather not spend Valentine's Day alone, gather all your single gals together and host the most Pinterest-looking dinner party ever! Get some delicious looking recipes online and show everyone you're a kitchen princess in disguise. Deck the place out with cute dining linens, cutlery, plates and some pretty little flowers as the center piece. Get all of your friends to split the costs, or even more fun: DIY everything! Finish the dining area off with a few girly pillows, heart balloons and some sparkle! Don't forget to take lots of pictures!

WANT: Pretty Summer Hair ❤

Heey lovies! Just met an important deadline and I got an 8 on a Microsoft Access assignment I had so much trouble with, so my day has been going pretty good! How about yours? Every day that goes by, I'm a little more excited to get off from school and finally enjoy the summer. It really makes me want to give my hair a little make-over. I'm always wearing it loose or in a high bun, so I think it's time to change things up a bit! One moment I'm thinking I want to go burgundy red, the next moment I see Vanessa Hugdgens' blue mermaid hair and I'm in love! As you can see I'm still totally crazy about the flower-in-hair trend. And I would love to rock some pastel hair this summer. Get Creative with Mason Jars: Girly & Cute Ideas ❤

I've been having such a creative urge lately, it's crazy. I blame the many DIY youtubers I watch for this! I'm constantly moving things around the house, buying cheap home decorations and just trying to keep my space as uncluttered as possible. I decided I wanted to start diy-ing more, so ofcourse I went to Pinterest and Weheartit for inspiration. Right away, I knew I needed to get my hands on those diy-famous 'Mason Jars'. I swear there are endless ideas, not to mention suuupercuuuute! I just had to show you some of my favorites.

Trend: Tutu Skirts ❤

As a former ballet dancer, one trend I would really like to take on is the Tutu Skirts. Also known as 'tulle skirts'. I remember the first time seeing a Tutu-Skirt outfit on tumblr a few weeks back and I just stared at it in awe, no joke. And ever since I haven't stopped seeing them on other fashion blogs. That's why I wanted to share some of my favorite tutu looks with you today. And who knows, maybe you'll fall in love with them too.

ALL WHITE EVERYTHING ❤

There is just something about the color white that is so special in fashion, to me. It's just so classy, sophisticated and timeless. I'm really liking the white trend this season and I think I'm gonna feel that way for a while. White shoes, especially high heels and white nails are my favorite! I had my nails white (matte) for a while and I was IN LOVE. I gathered some pictures from weheartit.com, to make you love this trend as much as I do. 

I really want to pull an all white trend outfit soon, but I feel like I'd be stressed all the time about not wanting to spill anything lol.

WANT: Skull Candles ❤

Skulls have been a big trend in the fashion world for quite some time now. I haven't always been a fan of it, but I'm becoming one more and more now. Especially of the skull candles. My house (studio) is pretty feminine with its pink walls and white furniture. But I really want to have some skull candles laying round the house, so the hunt is on!!

Unfortunately all of these pictures above are from weheartit, so there's no way to find out where these candles are from! I even browsed around on ebay..but no luck. I'm not giving up though!

What do you think about skull candles? And do you know where I can find some?

Home Inspiration ❤

I'm always buying cute stuff I can put around my house to make it seem more feminine. I live in a student studio, which is ideal since I don't like sharing my bathroom or kitchen with roommates. And I can't decorate and re-decorate as much as I want. I always find great inspiration pictures on weheartit and today I want to share a few. 

Can't wait to get started on the re-decorating process. First I need to go to Xenos and Action for some cute goodies. Where do you buy your home decorations?
