Proud Island Girl: W.I.C Colorfoul Curaçao ❤

Every time a fashion designer or brand decides to use the name Curaçao for his/their next big item, or every time there is a new beauty product named Curaçao, I get that little proud feeling inside. How come this tiny tiny island, one you can't even see on a world map, is still so popular?  The answer is unknown, but I love it!

If you're a beauty lover you probably know the nail polish brand, W.I.C by Herome. They are now coming out with a new limited collection called: Colourful Curaçao Collection. With 6 beautiful colors all named after some of Curaçao's lovely beaches.

If you want these new tropical shades in your nail polish collection, you have to hurry. They are going on sale as off today!! And we all know, limited collections never last long. Especially with beautiful colors like these. Each nail polish cost €7.50. But if you like more than one, you can also buy two for €12.50. Sleek Makeup - Caribbean Collection! ❤

On a happier note..
Today is the 2nd of July, which means it's Curaçao Flag Day.
And just like any other country, it's a whole celebration!

That's why I wanted to take this day and post about the Sleek Caribbean Collection, coming out soon! When I heard about this collection, I felt so proud that there was a makeup item named after my island! So cool! ♥♥♥

This Sleek Caribbean Collection consists of three items:
- a orange Sleek Makeup Blush, Aruba
- a orange Sleek Makeup Pout Polish, Bonaire
- a colorful Sleek Makeup I-Divine Palette, Curaçao

This collection really matches the warm weather and beautiful beaches of these three lovely islands!

I already pre-ordered the I-Divine Palette at Enchantra.eu. I still need to order the pout polish and the blush.

Marc Jacobs loves Curacao ❤

I'm having such a proud and happy feeling while doing this post!
The happy feeling is because I passed that major assignment I was talking about a few weeks ago. This means that 50% of my propaedeutic year is in the bag! All I have to do now is keep it this way! #yeahbuddy

The proud feeling is because I found out from my friend A Make-Up Lover♥ that Marc Jacobs has this new parfume called: Curacao! Now I have been saying I live in Holland for several months now.. But a lot of you might not know that I am originally from the beautiful island Curaçao! There is no way I can let this post go without a little bragging! Curaçao is located in the Caribbean, and is in the middle of Aruba and Bonaire! If you still have no clue where it is..It's in front of the coast of Venezuala.. The weather is super nice, always sunny (read: summer that lasts 365 days a year!) We love the sun as much as we love our beautiful beautiful beaches. Two things that match perfectly together. So if you're tired of the cold weather from where ever it is you live, or just want a tropical vacation: book to Curaçao :) Here's just a small little preview:
But now back to Marc Jacobs. The fragrance was inspired by the first sip of a cool, sweet cocktail on a sun-soaked summer day. Next to Curacao, Marc also introduced two other new Limited Edition Splash scents in Cranberry, Ginger. I just thought Curacao was more interesting to blog about hehe..Even the color of these Splash scents really give you that refreshing feeling and is enjoyable for men and women.
