Fall Shopping Guide #2: LBD, Hats & Denim Jackets ❤

I am back with another Fall Shopping Guide today, since the reactions to the first one was very positive! I love roaming through some of my most visited online shops to pick out the cutest essentials. 

The little black dress is such a timeless item, so ofcourse it was going to make this list! I particularly love the first two ones below, but all four are totally fall-appropriate.

I think my favorite must-have accessory for this season are headwear and hats in particular. Hats are just so much fun to play around with as they can dress your look up or tone it down if that's the look you're going for that day.

New In: Gold Leaf LA MODA Faux Septum Ring ❤

Ever since this year's summer first started, when I kept seeing some dope ass females on instagram wearing septum rings, I had this urge to try it out too. But with my fear of needles in the back of my mind, I went on a hunt for some faux septum rings. Didn't have much luck until I discovered that LA MODA had a small selection of faux gold and silver rings.  The faux ones are just £4,99 each! I just love how they have a real boho chic but also bad ass feel to them.

The first time around they were sold out before I had a chance to order them. But now that they got restocked again I took my chance. I ordered mine last Saturday and now one week later my package arrived from the UK. I was so excited to try them on and see if such a daring ring would suit my face. And if they didn't, well at least I didn't poke a hole in my nose haha. It took me a while to adjust the ring to a fit where it didn't constantly fall off, but here's how it looks.

Fall Shopping Guide #1: Boots, Outerwear & Sweaters ❤

It's the first of October which means we really have to start getting used to the colder and darker weather. It's now officially time to trade my summer wardrobe for sweaters, scarves and comfy socks. So for my first Fall Shopping Guide, I'm giving you a few of my favorite fall essentials that are both comfortable and trendy. Hope you enjoy reading!

Of course heeled boot(ies) are going to be the first thing on my essentials' list. Even if the rest of your outfit is so effortless, with these selection of heeled shoes you can instantly look more stylish. Honestly, Public Desire has really stepped up its game with their new fall boots.

No fall wardrobe is complete without (a few) comfy coats. Here in the Netherlands I try to reserve my thickest coats for the winter, so I always like looking for new fashionable fall coats and jackets that aren't too chunky but can still keep me warm.

I most definitely think the most worn item during the fall time are sweaters. They're just so easy to style, comfy and there are literally a million types of sweaters. Personally I like the cute and girly ones, like these three below. Pair them with casual denim jeans, cool sneakers and throw on a few accessories and voilà.

Event: Blogging101 - The Bloggers Academy Workshop ❤

Is anyone else super bummed that the weekend has gone by so fast? However I still enjoyed my days off and even attended a bloggers' event on Friday. For a little while now I have been a member of the Blogging101 facebook group. And when the admin Nene Merit (from online magazine Elegancy101) announced she was hosting a special bloggers' workshop, I was so excited. Since I've been blogging for almost 4 years now, I really think it's time to step up my blogging game and (try to) gain a steady income. I still love blogging with a passion and can't even imagine my life as a non-blogger. 

During the event topics like 'how to be an online influencer', 'corporate branding' and 'social media psychology' were discussed. We also got some useful tips and tricks from successful FROMHATSTOHEELS.com blogger Larissa Bruin. And I think her little presentation inspired me the most. Just to see other bloggers doing so well, kind of gives me a push in the back to really get my blog out there. Besides getting me really inspired to start using social media more effectively for my blog, I also had a lot of fun meeting new fellow bloggers: swapping business cards & networking. If you couldn't make it to the event, I want to leave you with a little impression of a fun night.
