Nola.Nova Tee Quote Contest ❤

On the facebook page of Nola.Nova they announced last week that they were looking for some cool quotes to finish their Summer14 collection. I've always been into t-shirt designing, so I got really excited to start brainstorming. Ultimately I came up with a few, including: WAKE ME UP IN L.A. So just now I casually opened my facebook and saw that Nola.Nova chose my quote to possibly be in their new collection! I AM SO EXCITED!

WEBSHOP: Jazzy Belle's Shop ❤

I love when bloggers wanna do more than just blog. I love when they create opportunities to become a succesful business person. That's what I want for my future too. Jazzmin Nilsson from Jazzy Belle's Life is one of many that are making it happen. Jazzy Belle is a fashion blogger, one who's blog I have been following for a while now. I love her edgy tough-girl style. And when she announced on her blog last month that she was starting her own little webshop, I was more than curious to see what she would come up with. 

Before Jazzy Belle's Shop was online, I took a look into her virtual lookbook on her blog. Immediately I saw items that I wanted. In the collage above I'm showing you my favorite picks. The brown and black Vintage sunnies are €12.95 each. The yellow Skeleton Hand Bag (also available in black) is €19.95. The black, gold and silver Skull Dust Plug are €3.95 each. And the silver Spike Necklace (also available in gold) is €8.95.

Right now you can only order items on facebook and instagram, but soon Jazzy Belles will have her official online shop. And they'll get back to you asap with more info about payment and delivery.

Bye Bye Google Friend Connect

Lately the blogging world of a lot of bloggers (including myself) have turned upside down as Google announced that they are canceling Google Friend Connect. This widget, mostly known as GFC, allowed readers to follow and keep up with your blog with just one easy click. It's also a quick way to see how many followers a (your) blog has.

"Google Friend Connect—Friend Connect allows webmasters to add social features to their sites by embedding a few snippets of code. We’re retiring the service for all non-Blogger sites on March 1, 2012. We encourage affected sites to create a Google+ page and place a Google+ badge on their site so they can bring their community of followers to Google+ and use new features like Circles and Hangouts to keep in touch."

I have read so many articles and blog posts (and the comments below) about this topic, and what the changes might mean for my blog. But to be honest, I still don't have a clue. What's going to happen with all my followers? My comments? What will happen with my entire blog? Should I change my blog platform? I really want answers before the first of March, because I'm freakin out a little. I feel like everything I've worked hard for, is being taken away. I think it's mainly because I don't really know what exactly is going on.

To prepare my blog for what's to come (whatever that is), I decided to take matters in my own hands. But with that, I do need your help. If from now on all of you started following me on Bloglovin and Facebook, it would mean a lot.

If you want to keep track of my blog posts, I highly recommend following me on one (or all) of these social media sites. You'd make me very happy. I haven't been using my Facebook page that much anymore, but I am planning on using it more often now to really connect with all my readers. My page also allows you to ask questions or give remarks, and that way I can respond quicker!
