My Perfect MBFW Amsterdam Look ❤

From the 17th of January 2014 till the 27th, Amsterdam is hosting its 20th Edition of FASHION WEEK. During this period, Amsterdam will be overcrowded with fashion designers, models, fashion bloggers, trend reporters and general fashion lovers.. And I sooo want to be a part of it all! This would be my very first year attending Fashion Week, so you can see why I would be excited. Especially because one of my favorite youtube gurus: Evelina Barry, will be attending a few shows. But my ultimate AFW experience would be completed, if I would be the lucky winner of FASHIONCHICK's Bloggers Contest. Two nights and a luxurious lunch in Art'otel, tickets to all the must-see AFW shows and an entire SuperTrash outfit? Sounds like a real treat!

Fashion Week is where your ultimate fashion alter ego comes out. No one to give you to stinky eye about what you're wearing. Only admiration for your style and courage from your fellow fashionable peers. That's why I think finding the perfect outfit(s) is so important! I want the alter ego in my head to run wild in possibilities, but I also want to remain true to my personal style. And that is why this would be My Perfect MBFW Amsterdam 2014 Look.

Since the events are all mid- and end January, there is a chance we'll still be experiencing a severe winter. So I opted for a nice cobalt blue Cape Coat, an aztec Kimono Cropped Top with long sleeves and black semi-baggy Leather Pants. I thought I'd combine the black and blue outfit with purple and teal accessories. And finish it all of with some edgy white cut-out Boots. I am so in love with this entire outfit! It has a lot of statement pieces, but doesn't look messy. And most important of all, I stayed true to my own style

Nola.Nova Tee Quote Contest ❤

On the facebook page of Nola.Nova they announced last week that they were looking for some cool quotes to finish their Summer14 collection. I've always been into t-shirt designing, so I got really excited to start brainstorming. Ultimately I came up with a few, including: WAKE ME UP IN L.A. So just now I casually opened my facebook and saw that Nola.Nova chose my quote to possibly be in their new collection! I AM SO EXCITED!

BooHoo Fashion Bloggers Challenge ❤

I just love contests where you have to put together an outfit or something similar like that. So when I saw a contest FashionVouchers was holding, I knew I had to enter. For the ones that don't know FashionVouchers (I didn't know who they were before either), they are a site where you can browse for vouchers and discount codes of your favorite fashion and beauty stores. Because BooHoo recently made the Top 10 Fashion Money Saving Websites, FashionVouchers launched a new bloggers challenge to find the best outfit for £50 or under. The four bloggers with the best outfit will win a £50 voucher from BooHoo (so they can basically buy their outfit).

     Total price = exactly  £50!

I didn't think it would be so hard to create an outfit with the different items from BooHoo. Not because there wasn't anything I liked, on the contrary..I liked almost everything! That was what made it so hard. But in the end I went for a very feminine dress and matching heels. To mix the sweetness with a little edge, I choose the white skull necklace to toughen it up a little. Definitely an outfit I would wear myself! So I hope I am one of the winners! Keeping my fingers crossed..

Contest: Nelly's Design Your Handbag ❤

I just entered this Design your Handbag contest from Nelly.com and I need your help! My design is called: Pink City Nights and it's definitely a bag that I would want in my own bag collection! The prizes for this contest are INSANE, the first prize is a €1000 voucher AND your design will be sold on Nelly.com :D. How freaking cool is that? The second prize is a €800 voucher and the third prize is a €500 voucher. 

All three prizes are amazing, but of course I'm aiming for the first prize. The 100 entries with the most votes will go through to the finals! And from these 100 designs the three winners will be chosen by representatives of Nelly.com.
