Event: MBFWA Tony Cohen ❤

     HELLO LOVELY READERS

The day I got to meet Evelina Barry, was the same day I went to MBFWA Tony Cohen's fashion show. This was one fashion show I really wanted to attend, but I had no tickets and no invitations. Luckily a few days before the show, I was unexpectedly given two tickets by a friend of mine. Lucky me! :D As always, I loved the collection. Full of dark colors, head accessories and edgy pieces! 

Event: Vodafone Firsts Fashion Lab - David Laport ❤

Before anything, I want to give a huge thank you to Vodafone for picking me and my blog to attend one of the Firsts Fashion Lab fashion shows during MBFWA! 

This year Vodafone presented Firsts Fashion Lab, which is a great opportunity for young Dutch fashion designers to showcase their new collection and develop and extent their network. Last Friday me and my friend Omaily attended the 'David Laport' fashion show. "David Laport is a young contemporary fashion label who creates experimental women's wear." 

MBFWA 10DAYSDOWNTOWN - DAY3: BLOGGERSCAFE ❤

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. And to celebrate, they've come up with: 10DAYSDOWNTOWN. 10 Events in 10 Days on 10 different Locations. Yesterday I traveled to Amsterdam to attend the Bloggerscafe by Fashionchick. A lovely (+ free) event for every blogger, journalist and lover of fashion to come together and network! :-) After a whole hour of bloggers catching up and sipping on some delicious Baileys Chocolate Luxe, we were welcomed into a room full of balloons, chairs and goodiebags. The next hour was filled with inspiring and funny stories from three successful bloggers: Monique van Loon, Yvonne Eijkenduijn & Anouk Bas. All three shared their secret recipe to a successful blog.

My Perfect MBFW Amsterdam Look ❤

From the 17th of January 2014 till the 27th, Amsterdam is hosting its 20th Edition of FASHION WEEK. During this period, Amsterdam will be overcrowded with fashion designers, models, fashion bloggers, trend reporters and general fashion lovers.. And I sooo want to be a part of it all! This would be my very first year attending Fashion Week, so you can see why I would be excited. Especially because one of my favorite youtube gurus: Evelina Barry, will be attending a few shows. But my ultimate AFW experience would be completed, if I would be the lucky winner of FASHIONCHICK's Bloggers Contest. Two nights and a luxurious lunch in Art'otel, tickets to all the must-see AFW shows and an entire SuperTrash outfit? Sounds like a real treat!

Fashion Week is where your ultimate fashion alter ego comes out. No one to give you to stinky eye about what you're wearing. Only admiration for your style and courage from your fellow fashionable peers. That's why I think finding the perfect outfit(s) is so important! I want the alter ego in my head to run wild in possibilities, but I also want to remain true to my personal style. And that is why this would be My Perfect MBFW Amsterdam 2014 Look.

Since the events are all mid- and end January, there is a chance we'll still be experiencing a severe winter. So I opted for a nice cobalt blue Cape Coat, an aztec Kimono Cropped Top with long sleeves and black semi-baggy Leather Pants. I thought I'd combine the black and blue outfit with purple and teal accessories. And finish it all of with some edgy white cut-out Boots. I am so in love with this entire outfit! It has a lot of statement pieces, but doesn't look messy. And most important of all, I stayed true to my own style
