Thoughts about a Piercing ❤

I always wanted to have a navel piercing, but I'm way too scared of pain and needles and such! So I never really gave it a serious thought.. and my parents weren't really fond of the idea either, so there went my piercing dream! But moving to Holland, the idea re-appeared back in my head! I am slowly building up the courage to actually go through with it.. And surprisingly my parents are cool with it. I think it's the fact that I live about 9 hours away (by plane), and the fact that I'm turning 21 in two months.. So they know they can't really forbid me to do anything anymore *evil laugh*

I think I really got excited about it, when on my trip in Amsterdam I saw this reaaaally cute belly ring in the form of a crown. My nickname is basically Princess (Prncsz) everywhere, so it was perfect! I even took the step to go to an actually tattooshop in the Hague and ask about the price and such! A step I didn't care to take before....

It looks like I have everything planned out right? WRONG!
I'm getting opinions from a lot people about it.. some say it would look dope, others tell me it doesn't hurt at all.. and then there are people who tell me the moment you want to take it off, you have a really ugly scar..
And honestly.. I have no idea what to think about it anymore!
I still think I'm going to get one, but I want more opinions and more stories!

So please help me out.
What can you tell me about getting a navel piercing?
Have any tips? Or do you know a place that sells the cutest piercings?
Let me know.

I'll keep you guys up to date about my navel :P

Still a Kid at size.. ❤

Yesterday I made a little Amsterdam trip..
It was a really funny trip, since we walked in the red light district! Hahah, since I moved to Holland I always wanted to see the prostitutes standing in front of the big windows. I couldn't imagine it, so I thought it would be interesting to see it with my own eyes. I saw men going in, I saw men coming out.. disturbing thoughts haha! But it was the main reason why we went to Amsterdam (don't judge me, lol) but being in Amsterdam you can't help but to shop a little!

Strange enough, I didn't shop that much! Saw a lot of cute things, a lot of expensive things... but when it came to my size.. not much! I hate that.. Especially when it's about shoes! Saw soooo many gorgeous heels, but none of the stores really had my size, bummer! Me and my cousin made a bet, that I wouldn't leave Amsterdam without having at least one shopping bag..
We didn't bet for anything, but I wanted to win, since I want to show that I can leave the stores empty handed.. At one point I almost did win, until I went into Coolcat..

Coolcat always has cool stuff! I love that store..The one in Amsterdam was so unbelievably big, it really looked like a club. Working there must be so much fun. I decided to look around in the kid section for a change! Can you believe that the two things I bought that day, were from the kid section in Coolcat? And I'm not ashamed to say it.. I mean cute clothes, and cheaper than for actual women..Who wouldn't want that? The leopard tanktop I got was in a size 158-164 for little girls!! And I finally got some sunglasses that really fit my face well, also in the kid section!

I love that I can still buy clothes in the kid section haha! I love being petite!
How about you? Are you still able to buy something out of the kids racks?
Maybe not clothes, but caps or jewelry?

Sleek Makeup - Caribbean Collection! ❤

On a happier note..
Today is the 2nd of July, which means it's Curaçao Flag Day.
And just like any other country, it's a whole celebration!

That's why I wanted to take this day and post about the Sleek Caribbean Collection, coming out soon! When I heard about this collection, I felt so proud that there was a makeup item named after my island! So cool! ♥♥♥

This Sleek Caribbean Collection consists of three items:
- a orange Sleek Makeup Blush, Aruba
- a orange Sleek Makeup Pout Polish, Bonaire
- a colorful Sleek Makeup I-Divine Palette, Curaçao

This collection really matches the warm weather and beautiful beaches of these three lovely islands!
source: www.BeautyLab.nl

This collection will be officially available on the 6th of July @ webshops like Boozyshop.nl and Alicejohavesentials.nl (Holland).
I already pre-ordered the I-Divine Palette at Enchantra.eu. I still need to order the pout polish and the blush.

I will definitely do a review on all three products, I think I'll wait once I get them all! But just in case you were curious, I collected some reviews from other blogs.

For the Dutch readers:
* "Sleek - Caribbean Collection" by www.BeautyLab.nl. She created an awesome look with all three products!
* "My divine Sleek Curaçao palette" by www.BlogginBeauties.nl

Some English blogs:
* "Sneak Peek - SleekMakeUp Limited Edition Caribbean Collection" by Jennie Jenkins
* "Sleek Makeup LE Caribbean Collection - Swatches & Photos" by www.glossicious.com

I can't wait to have these babies!

How about you? Excited or totally not into this collection?

Lots of Caribbean love, from a Caribbean girl! ♥

I am Torn.

Hello my lovelies,
this will be a personal post about what I am going through right now!

For the readers that follow me on twitter, you might have realized that yesterday was one of my worst days yet. After working hard this whole schoolyear, passing most of all my modules.. I still failed three of them in the last exam week. And from all the modules I got this year, three sounds like a small problem. But it's anything but small. My school has this weird rule about combining modules together, which means that if you manage to fail one, you automatically won't get the credits from the other.
I'm going to be honest, this f#cking sucks! To be able to continue to the second year you must at least have 40 credits. Because I failed three exams, I'm now at 38!!!! And in reality it's not even 38, it's 48! But because of the combination rule, they only count the 38 on paper.

If a first year student does not get all the 40 credits, the rules are that they can not continue the study. And that's the worst part. I moved all the way from Curaçao to Holland just so I can study IBMS. And now I'm probably not even allowed anymore. I am so disappointed and right now I feel so helpless, all I did was cry and feel sorry for myself. I feel really bad that I disappointed myself, but I can't stand the fact that I let my parents down. Even though they keep telling me they're very proud of me, I can't help but think different.

I don't feel like doing anything, I don't feel like watching tv, going out.. I don't even feel like eating. I am just torn.. My heart is just broken, as if I just lost love. This was supposed to be an awesome summer, but I don't see how it can be after this. My only hope is that I can convince and beg the exam committee on Monday to give me another chance. Even if it's that I re-do the first year, I just want to continue with my IBMS study. That is my future. My parents told me to start thinking of a Plan B, and I know they're right, but I just don't see myself doing any other study that isn't IBMS.

My mind keeps going back to yesterday, as I wished things were different.
But I don't know, maybe this is God's plan for me.. I mean, There are no shortcuts to any place worth going, right? You have to face some struggles to get to where you want to go, in order to become a stronger person, right?
This is usually advice I give to others, but I think it's time for me to take it for myself now. There's no point in stressing and worrying about it, because those won't get you anywhere in life. All I can do is pray to God and let faith be. I need to be thankful that my problem isn't half as big as problems other people in the world are facing right now.

I didn't think writing about my feelings would make me feel better, but I'm glad it did. I just need to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. And just put all my trust in God. He's the only one that can make anything happen!

I thought I needed someone to cheer me up, but I think all I needed was just someone to listen to me. So, Thank you!

Xx
