New Year, New Goals ❤

In the Netherlands it is exactly 00:00 so I wanna wish all of my readers a HAPPY NEW YEAR! 

I always get excited for new years, because it's a chance for me to set new goals and seize new opportunities. Every end of the year I make a list, with all my realistic (and unrealistic) resolutions. It just gets me that more excited to start off the new year.

In 2013 I want to...

* Take my blog that more serious and really try to create more exposure. I'm hoping to get invited more for fashion shows, press events, store launches and other fashion/blogger/beauty events.

* Be motivated enough to get back in the gym and get in a better, healthier shape.

* Finally finish re-decorating my entire home, just the way I always pictured it. 

* Travel as much as I can to places like: London, Paris and Milan. I love short-stay (shopping) trips and I love the fact that living in the Netherlands has made it that much easier. 

* Enjoy life more.

2013 will definitely be a great year, I can feel it. Hope you feel the same way! And hopefully you'll stick around my blog this year too <3<3<3 I'd appreciate it a whole lot.

New In: Action Home Decorations ❤

I have an 'Action' store right outside my house basically and I try to go in there regularly. They have the cutest home decorations. Walking down the aisles of Action always makes me so happy to be living on my own, knowing that I can buy anything I want without roommates disagreeing.
I never ever go home empty-handed. I do try not to go overboard, because their prices are so cheap. It's easy to get overwhelmed.

I'm actually really excited to show you what I bought recently.

Haha just now I noticed that it's crooked

I saw this heart pastry holder from a far and knew it had to go into my basket. My favorite fashion blogger DulceCandy, once posted an instagram picture where she used a pastry holder as her new jewelry holder. So original! Mine isn't exactly the same as hers was, but will probably have the same purpose. 

I love candles! I never lit them, but I love having them everywhere around the house. Especially these scented ones.

I loves these types of vases, for the simple fact that they can be empty but still look pretty cute.

Now it probably wasn't the best idea to buy this white carpet. But it was calling my name.. It's going to be impossible to keep this clean but it's nothing a hand wash can't fix. I hope. 

This is probably my most favorite Action item yet! I saw it and there was an instant smile on my face. I don't even drink tea that often! Maybe this cup will change that.

When I'm done re-organizing and re-decorating my home, this will be the last thing I'll put up. A house that will finally feel like home. Well at least, my 2nd home. Curacao will always be my first.

I'll probably visit Action again somewhere in mid- or end of January, to see if they got new items for me to take home.

WANT: Skull Candles ❤

Skulls have been a big trend in the fashion world for quite some time now. I haven't always been a fan of it, but I'm becoming one more and more now. Especially of the skull candles. My house (studio) is pretty feminine with its pink walls and white furniture. But I really want to have some skull candles laying round the house, so the hunt is on!!

Unfortunately all of these pictures above are from weheartit, so there's no way to find out where these candles are from! I even browsed around on ebay..but no luck. I'm not giving up though!

What do you think about skull candles? And do you know where I can find some?
