My SS/15 Essentials ❤

Hello lovelies,

 It's been spring for a little while now and probably like every other blogger, I still feel like there a few fashion pieces missing from this season's wardrobe. So I thought it would be fun to make a list and show you all my (missing) essentials for this year's spring and summer. 

On top of my list is a pink Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 camera. These pretty polaroid cameras have become such a hype. And I finally think I'm ready to splurge my money on one as well.

I used to hate flatforms shoes with a passion, but somehow they made my list anyways. I think being petite, I now definitely see their practicality of being comfortable but still having a little bit of heel for everyday all-day wear.

Lately I have been leaning more towards backpacks instead of purses and crossbody's. They not only look very boho chic, put also carry a lot more.

On every online shop I've browsed on for the past couple of days, I've been checking out their floppy hat selection. They're perfect for those bad hair days, those "mannn the sun is shining hard" days, those "my outfit is kinda blah" days, don't you think?

Besides grey being my official spring color, I also can't get enough of striped clothing. I had on a striped asymmetrical dress on Easter last week and I got so many lovely compliments. 

Last on my list, but not least.. flash tattoos! I know they've been in since last summer but I'm still very much obsessed with them.

BACK2SCHOOL SERIES: 5 Outfits with 5 Items ❤

Hello lovelies! August is here and whether we like it or not, going back to school next month is already haunting our thoughts. The most exciting thing for me about going back to school is not actually going back to school, but getting ready to go back to school. Meaning: shopping for new clothes and supplies! In these BACK2SCHOOL series posts, I'll be giving tips on creating casual but stylish school outfits, DIY ideas for cute school supplies and more. Hope you're as excited as I am!

With a few key basic items [and I made sure they were affordable!], I'm going to show you that you really don't need much to create outfit-variety for the entire week. I chose a basic striped tee with mid-length sleeves. I loved the simplicity of it and the cropped hemline. I find a great denim jean a must and opted for a skinny slit-knee version. And an item that can really create variety is definitely an oversized checked shirt! I also opted for a vintage-feel oversized denim jacket and a brown fake leather bag that is sturdy and big enough to use as a book bag. 

Monday: You're super tired from your fun weekend and want to sleep in as much as possible before heading to class. That's why I chose for simple! Comfy but still well-put together.

Tuesday: Swap your simple top for a fun (check out the back on this one!) checked shirt, wrap a statement belt around the loops of your favorite pants and hop into some comfy hi-tops.

Wednesday: Do some serious time traveling back to the past era with this denim jacket and neon shoes. Unbutton the jack so that just a few hints of the top is revealed.

Thursday: Create an interesting look by wearing the checked shirt under the cropped top. Roll up the long sleeves and make a cute little knot in the front with the excess of the checked shirt. Complete this very feminine look with a high bun and this clip-in bows.

Friday: Prepare for a new weekend with this layered look! Instead of wearing a denim jacket in the most common way, switch it up a bit by wearing a checked shirt over your trusty jacket. Both unbuttoned ofcourse. It'll look like your shirt has some cool denim trimming. Go all out with a fun cap to match your fun personality!

What's Missing in my SS/14 Wardrobe? ❤

Heey lovies! Do you know that saying "I have enough clothes - says no woman ever"? Well, that is basically my reality! I always feel like adding more pieces to my wardrobe to make it complete. But does it ever come to that? You guessed it....NOPE! Even now for spring and summer, I have a few pieces in mind that I would like to add soon. They would totally spice up my wardrobe and bring tons of fresh new outfit possibilities. 

The first piece is OBVIOUSLY going to be some GLADIATOR SANDALS! I don't think I've ever obsessed about anything more than I have about these particular shoes. And the thing is, because I'm so short I don't even know how they'll look. All I know is, I WANT them and I NEED them in my life. The gold chunky and the white elegant ones above are from both Boohoo.com. The black knee-high one, which is soooo perfect is from Heelberry. But my little shopaholic heart is broken, because it is all sold out now </3

You can't really feel the Spring and Summer vibe without having any TROPICAL PRINTS hanging in your closet right? Well not really, but let's just pretend that's true! I'm loving all three of these pieces, but the palm print top from RiverIsland is definitely my favorite! The black pleated shorts are from Forever21 and the cute ombre skater skirt is from Boohoo.com. 

New In: Summer Essentials ❤

I really feel like the worst blogger award should go to me, since I have been abandoning my blog so much lately haha. I'll try to keep up again! What I definitely haven't been doing is abandoning the stores! :D I bought myself a few goodies again, cause I felt like I "needed" new summer essentials.

In my previous blogpost I showed my items from Boohoo, which were a really cool tiger bodysuit and a crop tee. What's funny is that I also bought similar tops in the sale at Riverisland.com, only in different colors. And besides online shopping, I also went to H&M to browse around as I saw a lot of new items on their website.

My favorite items are definitely the tiger bodysuit and the pow-smash tee! Can't wait to wear all my new items, since it has been sooooo sunny in Dutchlandia! :D:D Really hope it lasts all through summer!
