Diary: Steps to a Beach Body ❤

What's the point of buying cute bikini's and other swimwear if you're not even comfortable in your own body, right? I've been wanting to get back in shape since forever, but I just haven't gotten the time lately. Bad excuse, I know! But I'm so willing to change that. Now that I only have a couple of weeks left before flying back home, I really need to get it kickin. 

My goal:

 I'm using these pictures as my inspiration. But jut staring at them isn't going to help, so I thought of a few small (and fun) ways to affect my shape in a big way!
⇝ Drink at least 1l bottle of water per day. I'm not a big water drinker, so I know this is going to be one of the biggest challenges. But water will do so much good for my entire body (including my hair), that it's worth it.

⇝ Have a solo dance session for at least one hour every single day. I'm going to play DJ and only have party music playing. Thinking of myself as a professional music video dancer is also a plus for my moves  :p

⇝ Eat as healthy as possible and cut down on junk food. I'm going to stock up on fruit and vegetables. Other big challenge: say no to Mc Donalds! :(

⇝ Choose walking over using public transport. When I had school I used to walk all the time, because it was about 10 minutes away. But now that school is ending, I need to find a way to keep up with my daily walks. 

⇝ Try hitting the gym once a week. This was my plan all along, but my laziness always won. Gotta change that.

⇝ Before I go to bed every night, do about 100 crunches. Oh Lord help me. For the rest of the days, when gym is not on my schedule, I still need to get my exercise on. 

THE BIG CHALLENGE = STICKING WITH THEM.

Before writing this post, I measured my body parts to recognize the results as I go along with my steps. Upper Arms = 32 cm | Waist = 78 cm | Hips = 89 cm | Thighs = 50 cm
I just want everyone to know that I'm not taking measurements, because I want to lose weight in particular. I just want to tone up my muscles a little bit. 

In about 2 weeks I'll update you all with another blogpost on my results so far. What are your steps to a perfect beach body? Share your secrets.
