Event: Boohoo Dressmas Blogger Event ❤

Last Tuesday I got invited to CreamPR's Boohoo #Dressmas Blogger Event in Amsterdam. Me and a few other bloggers got the first chance to see Boohoo's new Christmas collection in the CreamPR showroom, before Boohoo's launch in the Netherlands. The collection is uber-amazing, with lots of sequins, leather, tartans and leopard pieces. Every blogger got a chance to pick out their favorite pieces and pose in front of a cut-out instagram frame. I also got a chance to have a lovely chat with Sophie (Boohoo's Online Marketing Manager). So it was definitely a great night!

Event: MY Run on Heels in Almere ❤

Last Sunday I traveled to Almere for the second edition of MY Run on Heels race. As I mentioned in a previous blog post, MYROH was an 100m race where mostly ladies raced against each other on high heels for a chance to win the big €2.500 shopping money prize. The event started off with the Dutch All-star Cheerleading squad that got the crowd pumped up, a few fashion shows from various stores nearby, dancing entertainment (i.a Little Chucky crew), the miss pageants, singer Nicole Bus and ofcourse multiple races. In case you missed it, see more impressions below.

New In: Primark Zoetermeer Haul ❤

I've been praying to the Shopping Gods for a Primark store to open closer to the Hague. I know there's one in Rotterdam Alexander, but it's a bit too far for my quick shopping trip moods. And since the one in the Hague will open until Fall 2014, I was sooo happy to hear there was one opening in Zoetermeer end of October. So ofcourse I wanted to attend to opening. Initially, I wanted to be there when the doors opened. But after seeing pictures of HOW crowded it actually was, I was glad I chose to stay in bed a little longer.

I arrived around 1 o'clock and there was a lot of security, iron fences and still a very long line outside. Inside it was even more crowded. I even heard some people got light-headed and fainted due to the amount of people. Normally I hate shopping in a crowded store, but there was no way I was leaving empty-handed!

Event: UO Amsterdam Launch Party ❤

Yesterday me and my friend & fellow blogger Omaily from Shades of Sexy Little Things met up in Amsterdam for the store opening of Urban Outfitters. The store is located in the Kalverstraat, has three floors and was packed!! once we arrived. Their clothing doesn't exactly fit my style all that much, but I did really like their accessories, books and other cute gadgets.

Nola.Nova Tee Quote Contest ❤

On the facebook page of Nola.Nova they announced last week that they were looking for some cool quotes to finish their Summer14 collection. I've always been into t-shirt designing, so I got really excited to start brainstorming. Ultimately I came up with a few, including: WAKE ME UP IN L.A. So just now I casually opened my facebook and saw that Nola.Nova chose my quote to possibly be in their new collection! I AM SO EXCITED!
If you also think my quote is your favorite out of these three, please vote for option A on their picture. Click for direct link.

Thank you sooo much in advance!

Trend: Matching Seperates ❤

I've seen this trend so much in the past summer, but I'm still digging it this fall. I'm talking about the Matching Seperates. They're literally separate items (tops and bottoms) in the same design/color/patterns. On some online shop you can also find them under the name 'two-piece suits'. I love the idea of the wearing matching pieces together. The only bad thing about them are: 2 pieces, so obviously two prices :( I've collected a few of my favorites that I've seen recently just for you.
These two are so stylish, don't you think? I am kinda in love with them. They're both from this online store I recently discovered: RUE107. Their prices are a little over my budget though.. but it sure doesn't hurt to fond over them. Loose Crop Top left: $105.00 - Bottom left: $80.00 - Loose Crop Top right: $105.00 - Bottom right: $95.00
All three "two-piece suits" above are from CHOiES. What I love about these is, they are just one price! The white retro patterned suit is my favorite! Too bad it's out of stock at the moment. (I still wanted to show you anyway lol) A close second is the red playful Mickey Mouse suit. Suit middle: $67.99 - Suit right: $54.99
And the last four are obviously from Missguided! I can't pick a favorite here, cause they are all really cute. Not typical fall/winter wear, but you can also create that look with stockings and such! Print Shorts left: €26.33 - Crop Top left: €19.74 - Aztec Shorts middle: €23.03 - Crop Top middle: €32.91 - Embellished Shorts middle: €59.25 - Crop Top middle: €72.42 - Skater Skirt right: €15.79 - Bralet right: €26.33

What's your take on this trend? And do you think they're only a summer trend or can you rock them in fall/winter too?

#WorkoutWithCOTS October Week 2 ❤

So the second week of my October Fitness Challenge just kicked in! And as crazy as it sounds, I do notice a tiny difference in my stomach area. Maybe it's just my brain making me want to see it, but it did keep my spirit and my motivation up! This week the exercises remain the same, but I have increased the amount of reps and sets of each exercise. Last week I did have a little trouble with keeping up with some of the exercises, especially the situps! But it's all about pushing yourself and your body to further limits.
Let's go for another week of making great changes for our bodies and self-esteem!

Don't forget to hashtag #WorkoutWithCOTS, if you're joining the journey!

New In: Naturally Adorable ❤

It's so crazy how I always decide to place an order on the River Island website, instead of just taking that 20-minute train ride to Rotterdam. It's just so much easier I guess, especially to a lazy person like me! Anyways, a couple of weeks ago I decided to check the RI site to get a glance at the new Rihanna collection. I wasn't really impressed (especially not for those prices), so I decided to check the sale items instead. There's where I found this cute "Naturally Adorable" black sweatshirt. And for just €14.00.
The sweatshirt arrived yesterday, which is actually a pretty long time for UK shipping. But I'm so happy with it! The fabric is so soft and I love the fit. It's very comfortable and loose. And I really like the text :P. I already thought of so many outfits with this sweatshirt, even before it arrived!

Plain Plaid ❤

Plaid has definitely made a fashionable comeback this season and I am a fan! I love the 90's rocker-chic feel it gives an outfit: can you say instant statement? There are so many ways to wear a plaid blouse, because they are very versatile. They're almost like a basic must-have.
Look 1: The first look is very risky and for fashion "daredevils" as I combined the monochrome trend for the top and bottom. Even though the grids and color design are totally different from each other, I still feel like it works really well together. I paired the rest of this outfit with black chunky heel shoes and this black/white/cream clutch to give it an overall dressy look. Look 2: The second look is more of a "messy" look. The grey sweatpants and the sneakers definitely gives it an "I don't want to seem like I put in too much effort"-casual look. To finish this outfit, I would do the beanie justice by having a messy hair look. I think this is a perfect long-day-at-college outfit.
Look 3: I'm loving the "unoriginal" way to wear a plaid blouse, which is by tying the long sleeves around your waist. I've seen so many outfits like that and I yet haven't come across one that I disliked. That's why I created this look. I think by wearing shorts, the plaid blouse around the waist looks a lot more edgier. Especially with some brown combat boots. And by wearing a funny tee, it's a cross between a tough and playful look. Look 4: The dip-dye pattern of this blue plaid blouse works perfectly with some matching disco pants. And to put the focus on the high-waist of the pants, the blouse will look better tucked in. To finalize this outfit, I chose for classy black high-heeled sandals and a big statement black bag. I love how both the shoes and the bag have gold detailing. The yellow statement necklace is totally unexpected and serves for a pop of bright color.

Plaid blouses are so trendy right now, so you probably won't have a hard time finding them in stores/online. But I know Forever21 and Missguided really have some cute ones!

What do you think about this trend? And which outfit is more your style?
