What 2 Wear: Summer Festivals 2014 ❤

Heey lovies! Now I know all of the fun summer music festivals are coming up really soon. And even though I'm not really planning on going to any of them this year (hashtag bummer), I thought I'd give you a little fashion inspiration for the always-multi-million-dollar-question: WHAT TO WEAR?! I kept the outfits stylish and comfortable enough, because I know festival days tend to get super hot. And while you'll want to look uber stylish, I'm sure melting is not one your itinerary. 

✿ LACE SHORTS ✿

I think lace shorts are a cute basic fashion item that not only goes with basically anything, but they are also very flowy and comfortable. 

Lace, fringes and beads are a perfect trio for a festival proof outfit. And don't be afraid to colorblock your outfit, mix ruffles with lace and un-match your sneakers to your bag. 

✿ MONOCHROME ✿

The combination of black and white is still one of my favorite. It's very timeless and you can create multiple outfits that are appropriate for festivals. 

The key to rock the monochrome outfit is to not take it so literally. Pair your edgy black leather with pastel colored shoes and a cute flower hair band. Or throw in some holographic shoes and mirrored sunglasses. 

✿ COLORFUL KIMONOS ✿

Kimonos are always a cute cover-up, as they are not too thick to overwhelm you in the hot weather. 

I love the idea of solid colored matching seperates to put the focus on the kimono. Finish the look off with a bag that matches the kimono. Or you can match the kimono colors with a cute top and sporty sneakers.   

✿ HEADGEAR ✿

All you need sometimes to complete an outfit, is a statement on your head that's either edgy or very feminine. 

Give your denim snap back with a sporty t-shirt dress look a little twist with some high gladiator sandals. Also, your floppy hat would look so effortless with a fringe vest and denim high-waisted shorts. And no one will know that your bandeau top that you matched with your sandals and chain satchel, is actually a bikini top.
